Great Bladder
Well made, no smell, seems to be good quality all around to me. I exhaled into the drinking tube to inflate my bag just to make sure everything was sealed tightly and it was perfect. The drinking tube is surprisingly long and the insulated cover feels like neoprene so it's pretty tough. The 1.5L bladder is a perfect fit for my Condor Mesh Hydration Vest. I saw several questions on sizing so to be clear I ordered the 1.5L bladder which is 12.75" x 6.5" and it has a 42" drinking tube--it's excessively long. The product picture that shows up here is for the 2.5L bladder which is longer so it looks wrong. The bladder arrives with the tube detached. You just have to screw the tube into the bag, carefully so that you don't cross thread it. There are O rings on all attachment points so you shouldn't need to do more than finger tighten anything. There's a button below the drinking tip which allows you to remove the tip for cleaning or replacement and the tip also has an O ring. It's locked in pretty solidly so even pushing the release button you have to pull on it pretty hard to pop it free.

Great Alternative to Camelback - Backpacker Review
I wasn't willing to spend what REI wanted for a hydration bladder. So I found this guy on Amazon and read through the reviews. I cam to the conclusion that I would give it a try because of it's affordability. I have taken this on two backpacking trips now. It fits neatly inside of my backpack and the tube routes to the outside (nice feature on the backpack). I had clothes and other backpacking accessories constantly pushing up against the bladder and it held up. The drinking valve is different from anything I have ever seen before. After unpacking the bladder I was skeptical that it would function as expected. I was wrong.. I find it to be more durable and handy than it's leading competitor. It has an on/off switch that is very solid and the mouthpiece works extremely well. If their was one thing I would change about this bladder, it would be to make the valve more compact, it was a little difficult to get through the provided backpack hole, but it still worked. Their was plenty enough flow to fill my mouth as fast as I could drink. The screw-in top is plenty wide enough to fill it almost completely to the top. Most hydration bladders this is an impossible task, so I cannot complain about the bit of air that remained in the bladder. I hung the bladder from a tree by the provided flange and it seems durable enough. I have filled my bladder about 9-10 times now. It never had a bad taste.

Seems nice enough.
Just got it today. First thing I noticed was that the bladder seems to be made of fairly light material. I have no experience with other bladders from other companies so I guess I'll see how well this holds up. Of course it is protected by the heavier material of the pack. But I think I'll need to be careful around sharp objects. It is marked with water fill marks so you'll know exactly how much water you have. It has, as stated, hanger holes to hang the bag from either in the pack or in your closet which is nice. The hose attached easily and seems sturdy enough. The lid screwed in without any trouble, though I could see if you weren't careful, you could easily cross thread it. All in all, on first observation, it seems nice enough. Guess I'll see how well it holds up.

Good price, works great, big cap and detachable hose and bite valve makes it easy to clean and dry
I bought this as a replacement for a no name hydration backpack I purchased years ago. It works great. The filler hole is large enough that I can get my whole hand into it, which makes drying it out much easier. It's also very easy to fill, and easy to hang in a position where the filler hole is wide open for more complete drying. Stuff a paper towel inside to keep the bag open and you're all set. The hose screws onto the bag and doesn't leak at all. The hose in insulated. The bite valve pops into 2 pieces to make cleaning and drying easier. This is important because to dry the hose you can detach it from the water bag, remove the bite valve leaving the hose open at both ends, and hang it up to dry. There is a plastic cap covering the bite valve which is good for keeping it clean if you're in dirty environments. The bite valve itself works OK, nothing spectacular but it's easy to bite and suck fluid from. There is also a rotary on/off valve right next to the bite valve, I just leave it on while I'm using it and I had no problems. Overall for the price this works exactly as I expected, I would buy this again.

Works Great
Got a couple of these for mine and my wife's packs. It is a little small for my pack, and a little big for hers, but both work nice. One of them unfortunately had a leak in the shut off valve, but was refunded and replaced no problem. A couple rinses and the "plastic" taste goes right away, people SHOULD be cleaning ANY water vessel out before use ANYWAYS! You are your last defence in your own safety! The large bite valves are great.. and are removable to dispense water to a cup or pot, or hang and use for a camp shower! They are a little stiff to remove at first though. The extra large cap is nice and makes filling in weird shaped sinks or other situations easy, as well as being able to add ice very easy. That large lid also means it wont work with my Platypus filter bladder lid adapter, BUT the pull top adapter will fit on the hose with the bite valve removed for filtered filling with the bladder still in our pack. Carry handle built in is quite handy when pulling in and out of our packs for refill or cleaning. Tube cover helps keep water in the tube from getting too warm while in the sun, and keeps the tube protected a bit. Ordered two more for our kids, and they love em too!

good for the money
Condor always comes through with functional products, and this doesn't dissapoint. The 1.5L bladder functions well, offers a neoprene sleeve, mouthpiece cover and on/off valve. Things I would like to see is a valve fitting at the bag and hose connection to prevent leaking and a 90 degree mouthpiece, but at this price it's a fine piece of kit. This bladder fits my mil-tech assault pack perfectly, which is the reason I bought it. You can buy more advanced products at a higher price, but this is a good buy regardless. ******** UPDATE After the first use it does have a bit of an off taste, but its not so bad I'm not going to use it. I'll use a little lemon juice in the water next hike, that should solve the issue.

Does the job but has a serious downside in design
It holds water (doesn't leak) and the material is reasonably tough. I've used it on a few backpacking trips "in the wild" thus far, and it's serviceable. The bite valve and shutoff work well and the loop at the top is sturdy -- that's important so you can attach it to the inside of your pack and it doesn't wind up sliding down and bunching up (or worse, getting punctured.) My only real complaint, and it's a somewhat-serious one, is that the hose screws in with an O-ring seal, which is good and doesn't leak, but there's no valve in the attachment point. This makes for an interesting exercise when you need to refill it on the trail; you have to extract it from your pack, unscrew the hose, fill it through the large port while blocking the output port with your finger, tighten the fill cover and then the fun part -- while holding it inverted so the output port is up and doesn't leak you have to get the hose screwed back on *without* spilling water into your pack. All of these types of design have a further problem in that they're very hard to clean and get completely dry, which is important in storage to prevent nasties from growing in there, but this one is no worse than the others with a similar "screw down" fill port, so I can't knock it on that basis. If it had a valve in the output port that closed when the hose was unscrewed it would be materially better. Would I buy it again? Probably not, although I'm not going to toss it.

All good.
The material is durable from the bladder, the screw on opening, the hose, and tube insulation. The top of the bladder has two thin holes plus the screw on cap is made of a hard ballistic plastic with finger grips on top and smaller holes on bottom. I use these openings to hang the bladder in my pack. No slouching, bulging, and reduced movement of weight load. No leaks. The valve system works very well. The cap over the mouth piece is perfect to keep dirt or unsanitary items from touching the drinking part. Perfect fit inside a Maxpedition Falcon 2. I actually put it inside the mid size compartment adjacent to the main compartment. Its just more convenient to install and remove. If I ever need to max out the carrying volume I will move it to the appropriate compartment behind the back padding. Very good price compared to others. Definitely the best buy for me.

rece sacca idrica Condor
