Works well and mixes smoothly
This developer mixed easily with my hair color and had a smooth consistency that was simple to apply. It worked as expected and gave me an even result. The bottle also contains a good amount of product.

It might come leaking all over the place
I used this item paired with the loreal quick blue bleach. I have to say I was impressed. A little hair history: So about 7 months ago I had lighten my hair with peroxide and baking soda in hopes to get it light enough so purple dye would show how I wanted it to. I didnt want to bleach it becuase bleach is damaging. It got lighter a lot lighter but not light enough for purple. I put purple dye and it just made me hair look black. It was a fail. Months passed my hair faded to a nasty burgundy and murky greenish greyish color. I used color opps to remove the color. Then I bleached it using this devloper and quick blue. So my hair wasnt virgin hair when I used this and my roots had grown out about an inch or 2. I use this developer with the bleach thinking my hair wouldnt get that light. It was a dark brown color and my roots were a 1b if your familar woth that color. Surprisingly after 30 mintues my haor was blonde. Not orange. Not brassy. But Blonde. I went in thinking Id have to do 2 sessions but I didn't. The reason why it wasnt a 5 star was because the product came and it was spilled all over the packaging and box. I did buy this again most recently and it wasnt leaking. So I guess its a hit or miss wether or not your product will leak out.

Smooth, reliable developer for consistent results
Iโve had a great experience with the L Oreal Technique Oreor Developer Cream Hair Color Developer. The creamy formula makes mixing and application very easy, helping the color go on evenly without dripping. It works perfectly with different hair color products and provides consistent, uniform results every time. I also like how gentle it feels compared to other developers Iโve used. The texture is just rightโnot too thick or too runnyโand it helps achieve a smooth, professional-looking finish. Overall, this is a reliable, high-quality developer that makes the coloring process much easier and more predictable. Definitely a great choice!

A good balance between speed and control
Iโve used this developer multiple times with Quick Blue powder, and I think 30 volume is a great middle ground, especially if youโre bleaching your own hair. Itโs strong enough to achieve good lift, but it doesnโt work as aggressively as a 40-volume developer. That slightly slower processing time actually gave me more control, which I appreciated when working on my own hair. If youโre new to bleaching at home, Iโd recommend starting with 30 volume rather than jumping straight to 40. It gives you a little more room to monitor the process without feeling rushed. Just remember that proper sectioning, timing, and hair care afterward are just as important as choosing the developer itself.

Great to have on hand
This developer went great with my L'Oreal color. I like the 20 better than the 40 that comes in the box color set. It doesn't inhibit the color at all. I would buy this again.

Works well!
Slightly more expensive than other 20vol products but it is so worth the money. I made the mistake of buying a different, cheaper brand and the colour ended up quite brassy. This product, mixed with my usual colour, gives a clean, non-brassy ash blonde each time I use it.

OK
Good product but quite runny. I like L'oreal, so this was a surprise. Also, the bottle was half the size I was expecting.
