My Grandma's Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake

We enjoyed this delicious cake. It came very fresh and stayed fresh until the two of us had eaten every morsel! If you do not like wal it's then you should pass as the cake does gave ample small pieces of walnuts! Good value for money, we will definitely purchase agsin!

We get this for holidays and brunch celebrations. It always gets raves, and there are never any left overs. The pineapple coconut edition is really good, too, when available.

I fell in love with my first bite. Very moist but with satisfying crunch of cinnamon and walnuts. I sent one to my brother in PA since i knew he got up early to have his coffee before the rest of the family got out of bed. He called me the day after it was delivered and asked me to order him another. He only got one small slice. The rest of the family ate it all before he could get himself another piece. It's that good. I heat mine in the toaster oven to enjoy with my coffee. I purchased my first one at my local grocery store after seeing a woman buy three of them...two for herself and one for a friend. I went back after doing some shopping thinking I would buy one for a neighbor and they were sold out. The woman at the counter said they can't keep them in stock. They sell out the moment they put them on the table. I tried Amazon and fortunately they had them for sale. Yes, they are pricey, but well worth the money. They also freeze well to have later. I don't order them frequently, but when things aren't going well; they perk up my day.

Did everyone grow up with memories of their grandmother's coffee cake? I certainly did, and I would look forward to visiting my grandmother, not only because she was a lovely woman, but because she was such a fabulous cook. I remember her coffee cakes, the buttery rich,cinnamon infused coffee cake. My parents and aunts and uncles would all have coffee with this cake,many my sister and I would have milk. Those long ago memories survive everytime I think of this cake. This cinnamon, walnut coffee cake is indeed delicious. It is moist and the cinnamon walnut flavor us there. However, it is not as good as homemade, and homemade is easy to do I always add sourcream for a richness you cannot find in this cake. If you do not have the time or inclination, then by all means order this cake. It is probably the best coffee cake you can find in the business. Recommended. prisrob 07-23-15
