Had it hooked up to the yellow constant power and it did not work and when I was about to give up I tried it on the red switched power wire and it fixed the whiiiiinnnnnneeee. Thank you!

Cleared up 95% of the interference I was getting on my screen

The engine feedback I was getting was driving me absolutely crazy!! Did some research and found this little guy on YouTube. The video I uploaded shows it all. Before and after, I would only get noise and feedback when the car was running. If the car was on just turned to ACC the video was fine but now 100% of my noise and feedback is GONE. Something I didn't catch in the video I was also getting feedback in my sound system when reverse was engaged. This took care of that as well! Would DEFINITELY buy again if needed.

I was trying to remove the hiss from a radio transmitter, this did not seem to filter anything. My best guess is that it was filtering something, but perhaps not in the frequency i needed it to? No idea, but it didn't work for me.

I had an issue where on my newly installed reverse cam while the engine was running and I tapped on the brakes it would have lines run down the screen. Engine off no problem. Installed this unit, had to find a place to ground it to chassis instead of my reverse ground and it kind of? Worked. Now I get the lines running down brake on or off while the engine is running but they are a little less noticeable and defined but still there. So now instead of having lines some of the time I have lines all of the time, overall unimpressed. All my connections have been soldered and heat shrunk and wired properly so I know it’s not an error on install. Also was not impressed how its put together, like others have said it’s a cluster of electronic components protected by a giant piece of heat shrink that is open on both sides. For the price they could have at least gave it a plastic housing to actually protect the components.

Are use this device to filter the power to the stereo in my 18 foot travel trailer. So far, it appears to have successfully filtered out interference from the LED lights, power, converter, and portable generators. Background noise caused by these devices has been minimized. No installation instructions were provided with the device. The device has three wires. The red wire is connected to the power source. The blue wire is connected to the load, in this case the stereo. The black wire is connected to the ground.

Still have engine whine coming out of speakers and back up camera has diagonal lines when engine is running. Did make it better but noise still annoyingly audible

I recently installed a new head unit and a back up camera in my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T. I have LED back up lights. I wired the back up camera into the back up lights. When the camera is active there was a bunch of noise in the line from the LEDs making the picture unrecognizable. When I would unplug the lights from the bulb base, the picture would be crystal clear. I purchased this Noise filter and installed it inline just as the directions said. It worked great in removing the noise from the line. I only gave this product 4 stars for two reasons. 1) the unit is pretty big and simply is just some electrical parts wrapped in heat shrink. It would be nice if it was in a nice housing of some sort. 2) with its size and unusual shape, there was really no way to mount it. I'm just glad it's hidden by the interior covers of my cars trunk. I will be purchasing another one to help clean up the noise in the audio on my new head unit due to the new LED head lights I have installed.

It'd be nice if some bit of documentation somewhere said which wire is which since you can't see inside the heatshrink to get a look at the circuit, but guessing that red and black go to the power supply and ground worked out well enough. It does work exactly as advertised, though, so I can't really complain. I did not test it at currents anywhere near 12 A, but judging by the size of the components, it can probably get pretty close to that.

Was bought to stop interference on a reversing camera, although it did stop the image totally disappearing it still had considerable interference. Ended up removing the noise filter and disconnecting the earth from the camera as the problem appears to be due to earth loop interference. Image is now clear and stable.

I am very impressed and satisfied by this product. It works perfectly, you need to understand the schematics and where to put it. I comes between camera and power source and only there. Easy and fast. I recommend it 100%.
