Good mouse!
Lightweight mouse it’s perfect and responsive! Fits my hand perfectly and the colour is customisable, sounds very clicky too! Easy to use.

Large, accurate, comfortable
Excellent for very large hands and longer stretches of work. If you have large hands (mine are 21cm long and 12 cm wide when measured flat on a desk), go for it, as there are few good value options that are also comfortable. For gaming, and especially shooters, I'd recommend something narrower, like Logitech G403. I find aiming with narrower mice easier and more consistent. The Intellimouse Pro feels sturdy and well made, and the rubber sides do not get sticky and are easy to clean. Overall, I'm very happy with the product.

Solid General Purpose Mouse
Great mouse, solid weight and ergonomics, lasted me about 4-5 years until the left click stopped registering. Be prepared for the scroll wheel to fail early; you can still use middle click, just not wheel up + down.

WHY PAY SO MUCH FOR A MOUSE
Dislikes the braided cord although very flexible do not run it across your skin quickly or risk a burn. the additional buttons for your thumb I did not need these but disabled them from the ms utility powering my laptop up from sleep sometimes did not recognise it Likes: it actually fits my large hands it moves the cursor even when the surface changes colour or texture not too heavy or light slides across most surfaces with out sticking the pointer accuracy is spot on whether moving fast or slow. you can quickly move the pointer to roughly where you want it then slow down for more accurate selection It is a dream to use.

[Long Read] The Fabled Intellimouse with a 2019 Refresh.
The Microsoft Intellimouse. Revered for it's shape and sensor technology back in the early PC gaming days. I'm too young to have known how good it was so when Microsoft refreshed it originally only being available in Asia and fellow, crazy mouse enthusiasts over on /r/mousereview were exporting it, I wondered what was so good about the mouse. Eventually Microsoft released it for sale in the Western hemisphere but it wasn't a purchase I planned on making until a day just browsing Amazon I realised it was on sale for near half price, I thought why not considering it's recommended for those with large hands (although I imagine it's still amazing in hand with smaller hands if you palm grip the mouse). It came, I unboxed it and when I properly gripped it, the first thought was that this is perfect for my hand. It's ergonomic shape doesn't cause any cramping or general uncomfortability. Just perfect for me. Sporting the 3389 sensor by Pixart, a near flawless sensor along with the 3360, there's no worries on the accuracy side. Capable of up to 10,000 DPI (although no need to go near that number even at higher resolutions, general range is 400-800). There is software for this mouse, "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center" and easy google search should have you ready. In it, you can re-bind the side buttons, mouse-wheel, adjust the DPI and change the tail-light (although the options in this regard are very limited compared to other offerings). Any changes I believe are saved to memory in the internals. My only very very very small gripe from a perfect offering is that I wish it was a touch lighter, coming in at 100g~ which if you're familiar with the landscape of the gaming mice niche, is that there has been a 'revolution' of sorts in the direction of lighter mice, some coming at 80,70,60 and even in the 50 gram area. Some 'benefits' (as it's really personal perference) is less fatigue on your wrist allowing more 'consistent' performance over longer periods of playtime and less inertia allowing you to stop the mouse on a dime. Now, that isn't going to magically make you a better player but it's something were when you've tried it, it's hard to go back although shape is always the most important factor first and me coming from a Glorious Model O and G Wolves Skoll which weigh in at 65-70g is a big difference. Although this mice's weight is very balanced which makes it less noticeable so all in all, not a dealbreaker. This is a very worthy refresh of a beloved mouse and I can see why!

The legend is back, better than ever.
I've tried a lot of mice over the years, but none could quite match the perfect comfort, durability, simplicity and overall satisfaction of the legendary IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. Until now. This mouse is a dream come true. It's that perfectly-shaped work of art from 2003, but reborn with modern technology and thoughtful, subtle improvements throughout. Microsoft made the wise decision to keep the exact same shape as the original, whilst improving the feel and responsiveness of the buttons, putting a state-of-the-art sensor in it, and making some nice improvements to the build quality (including a braided cable). It feels fantastic in the hand (as the original did), but bear in mind that this is a 'palm grip' design, whereas a lot of modern gaming mice are 'claw grip' designs. It's really light without feeling cheap because of how solid it feels. It glides effortlessly on the cloth mouse mat I have. I'm very impressed by its accuracy and overall performance for gaming and non-gaming tasks alike. The finish is stunning and looks so much better in the flesh, and the texture of every part has just the right amount of grip. It's just a joy to use. Finally, the configuration software, Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre, is simple and modern. Use it to customise the buttons, sensor and tail light. Change the light to red for that extra nostalgia factor. I haven't been this excited about a mouse in years.

Great Mouse and easy to set up for TS or Mumble.
Okay this is a fantastic mouse as uses Microsoft's on software and drivers so setting up the the side buttons is a piece of cake compared to some gaming mice. The mouse does have 2 small faults that will annoy gamer's though. 1) the surface is to smooth so the grip is not great. 2) It's a little on the light side for gamers.

A worthy upgrade over MS IME 3.0 2003
All old school gamers know IME 3.0 mouse, it has become a legend over the years. Have used both, and IM Pro - for over 2 weeks since the delivery day in CS:GO, Black Mesa, Call of duty IV. *Found a sensor to be very precise (like 99% right now in the market...) in FPS games, it never spun out on fastest swipes. Very good in desktop, no underclicking or accidental doubleclicking. *Shape haven't changed, I like the mouse, but still gripping it differently every time in FPS games. Rubberized sides give good grip, good during colder weathers of UK, have yet to test it on a very hot day.. *Plastic coating doesn't gather too many finger tips, rubberized sides doesn't gather many either. *Love the weight, lighter than my g502/rival700, though cable is stiffer than g502, but table clip solves every problem with cable (you could also Paracord it, or someone else could do it for you, for more flexibility than default cable). *Wheel is smooth, doesn't overscroll or underscroll. *Clicks of all buttons not too loud, compared to g602, are much quieter, and as good as sensei 310 or g502 *Tracking is great on cloth (Perixx 40x32 mat), aluminium (Perixx 25x21), also it's well on grainy desk surface *Lighting. compared to 2003 version of Intellimouse 3.0, doesn't get in your eyes annoyingly, nicely hidden, better than 2003 version, colour can be swapped around, also intensity raised or lowered in Mouse And Keyboard Center software, also it's easy to spot a mouse on dark mousemat with room lights off. *16000 dpi more than enough, can be adjusted in software, but 1600 is perfect for me on a 1080p monitor, and absence of DPI button is not a con, I just need 3 buttons to make a frag in a game, could be a con for graphic designers, who like to change DPI range while they are working with photos or 3D models. Haven't used Intellimouse classic 3200 dpi, and sold my 2003 IME 3.0, but from my memories and reviews of Classic, I can say if you didn't get the classic, don't bother getting it, if you miss IME 3.0 shape, get IM Pro instead, a very worthy upgrade in all categories. I am a mice collector too, out of 15 mice right now, IM Pro and Steelseries Sensei 310 are my daily drivers for all applications right now. If I bought it when IM Pro was released, I would have skipped some mice and saved quite a few pounds in this journey of buying, testing and reviewing
