Works great in Windows 10
This works in Windows 10 and I'm going to assume it'll work in Windows 11 as well. Just know that drivers for this are going to be tough to come across so invest in the Snappy Driver Installer Origin program. It found the driver for this right away and works perfectly.

Easy to install and worked perfect for an old engraver.
A customer had his old computer died. It ran a laser engraver and a very old diamond engraver, both connected with a LPT Port only. I built him a new computer, but new motherboards don't have LPT ports, I I gave this a try. This was able to communicate with both using a splitter, customer is happy, so am I.

I was sceptical
I have a higher end pc and my vinyl cutter is getting pretty old. I used to hook it up via a USB to serial cord. Some windows 10 update ended up causing the device to no longer be recognized. After messing with it for about a week I finally got to the point where I have up trying to fix it. As a last resort I went ahead and bought this. I had to sacrifice my WiFi card and was discouraged when windows 10 didn't recognize the hardware. I downloaded their driver that is linked on this page and it's been working great. I hope that this review helps anyone needing a parallel port in their modern desktop.

It takes work to get it to work.
The product does work. But you have to put in some effort. The drivers on the disk are old (2014). Get the newer ones from the website. WIndows 10: I bought the Parallel port and Single Serial port model. The drivers found on the website on that specific model are not digitally signed. I had to install the Parallel Port/Dual Serial port driver. It is digitally signed and does work. Ubuntu 20.04: The make file for compiling the drivers are for kernel versions equal to or less than 4.x. They do not compile as-is in Kernel 5.x; you will need to edit the make file to get it to work properly by either removing the version check or adding a check for version 5.x in the same sections as the 4.x kernel check. They should put in more effort into their drivers as the hardware does work well once you get there.

Don't lose the included CD.
The card requires proprietary drivers that are not in Windows 7 / 8.x / 10 / 11. I installed this on a special test system as I needed a LPT connection. The drivers are included on the CD in CHINESE, and install with no problems. Card works perfectly. Just wish they would right the driver's in ENGLISH to make it easy.

Works as advetised.
Really I would give it 4.5 just because I had to find the link for the Windows 10 drivers in the questions. I haven't used the COM port but the LPT work great. I use it to connect to a Windows 98 box that doesn't have net access or USB ports.

I was not sure if this adaptor would work before I order it. But the price is cheap, and I need to set up my backup PC for my business. Why not try? Both parallel and serial ports are working like charm. My business use a very old management software, 20 years old. And it checks a Marx security dongle through the parallel port. I only runs on Windows XP. Also it uses RS-232C serial port to connect the entire 15 pieces of equipment in my business. It all works nicely. Driver installation was just a couple minutes thanks to other customers tip, use CH38XDRV. Without their advice, I would've spent a lot more time. I only hope the board won't break at least for a couple years.

Not a lot of documentation provided. Tried a couple of drivers on the CD and finally got it working with one of the WCH drivers. There’s two can’t remember which one I eventually used. Spent a morning trying all that out. It’s only a single serial and parallel board but two serial and two parallel have appeared on device manager. It works with my parallel port dongle which was my only requirement.

This card is good and works great when you finally find the right driver. The one you need to use on the CD is CH38XDRV.
