High Quality For Awesome Price!
This sword belt is fantastic! Sturdy, real leather, a bit stiff but that speaks of the quality, for sure. Fixed that with some leather softener. Heavy but not overly so, a good weight. Comfortable across the chest and shoulder. I'm a 5"7, 110 lbs girl so I had to tighten it as far as it would go but it works perfectly for my real steel blade. The clasps allow for a tightening around the sheath. It fits the sword in a way where you have mobility and are able to sit down (a huge plus). The color is exactly as the picture showed (we all know what brown leather looks like). The delivery was timely, had no problems upon arrival. I couldn't believe the quality for what I spent on it. This is definitely a buy, especially for cosplayers like me (for a warrior a sword belt is a must have). I highly recommend!!

It's not the prittiest but its functional, good enough quality and affordable.
I got mine as an add on item when buying a sword to get free shipping from medieval replicas if I remember right? It looks a little cheap but its sturdy, I used it to carry a Viking shield on my back vs a sword that belongs on my waste anyways. Its a long, if you tried to wear it as a belt on your waste you better be 400lb or cut a good 18" off if you have a 36" waste or smaller but over the shoulder to carry a sword its still a little big lol, just add extra holes like I did. I still like it though, the snaps are strong, the stitching feels solid, it doesn't feel like its going to fall apart. Mine was a lighter shade of brown then whats shown in the picture but again I got mine from someplace other than amazon so that may be why? in the picture it looks like its a coffee color but mine is more like the color of a baseball glove, kinda tannish. Its good for the price and cosplay. I suppose if you must wear a sword on your back this is the item to get. Its not going to be the prettiest thing but for the price the quality and functionality it cant be beat which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 3

Great! Thanks
So today my strap came in, someone said that it is not real leather? Well I have a rebuttal for you; I HATE LEATHER! And avoid wearing it at all costs. I can scope out Leather quite well. However if I need to wear it for a ren faire costume or any other costume, I will. THIS IS REAL LEATHER! I know the feel, the smell, the sound. And this checks out in all categories for being real leather. However I can see how this may be mistaken for faux leather. It is highly glossy, giving it a fake feel, but that smell is unmistakable. If you are a Zelda Fan, and like to carry your Master Sword places (Or if you have a Kokiri, Ordon, Great Fairies Sword or any other sword from the franchise... This is the real deal. It is the same type of strap that Link carried through Twilight Princess. I consider myself a long time Zelda Fan. The ONLY complaint I have about this thing is how uncomfortable it is. HOWEVER! It is not that the strap itself is uncomfortable. It is because the sword itself is 40lbs. The strap, as a strap should be, is light weight, a whole 4-6 lbs, adding as LITTLE weight as possible to the bearer. Bottom line is, Yes this is a high quality strap, durable enough to carry a sword of 40 lbs. If you are buying it for Cosplay, you might want to find a way to pad the shoulder, middle of the back and your hips because those are going to be problem areas.

Not comfortable and doesnโt hold a sword right
This thing is no comfortable at all. If you intended to use this as a baldric, ie to carry a sword, it makes wearing in a nightmare. Iโm 5โ2โ and petite and this thing is very tight on me when I put a sword in the holders. I have to let the strap out to the last hole and itโs still squeezes and the buckle digs in. I think the primary issue with this is that the holders for the sword are spaced way too far apart. If they were a little closer together it would fit better. If I need to wear this for any extended period do time Iโm have to take the sword out or the bottom holder which then causes it to flop around and get caught on things. The baldricโs appearance though is perfect for a Link cosplay for appearance and overall it is very sturdy and seems well made. These 2 reasons are why Iโm giving it 3 stars and not 1.

Looks great, works great
It's a fairly simple accessory, meant to hold a sword over your back (no, this is not to be worn like a normal belt). I paired it with the wider version of the Legend of Zelda Master Sword and it works great. I have to use the buttons on the wider setting to fit this particular sword, but it works as expected and keeps the sword firmly in place. It did take a few minutes at first to figure out exactly how it works and where everything is supposed to be positioned, but nothing too difficult. As for the material, I am very satisfied with the quality of it. It feels nice and looks like real leather. I'm no expert on the matter though, so I can't say for certain if it's real leather, but if it's not, it's close enough for me. Overall, it has a good look to it, especially if you're aiming for the "Link" look, and it feels very high quality.

There's a reason all the retailers don't show it being used with a sword: You can't.
I was a little confused as to why the online retailers all just used the same single image of the belt coiled around and laying on a surface, but figured I'd just get one to see if it would work for my costume needs. When it arrived, I opened it to look at it...and realized why there were no demonstration images of the belt being actually used as a 'baldric sword hanger'. It can't be done. The belt is pretty sturdy, and the patches around the belt are stitched quite solidly, making the belt have a kind of segmented feel. The loops that are snap mounted are located in 3 different places around the belt. One right next to the buckle that seems intended to act as the retainer loop to control the end flap of the belt. and two others. They are both horizontally mounted (so if you could actually snap your sword into one of them it would be horizonal along the belt) so if you actually used one with anything bigger than a dagger, the belt would be dragged into a twisted angle by the weight of the sword. To make it even better, the most secure way to fasten them would be using all 4 snaps to keep your weapon secure, except that with all 4 snaps closed, there is so little space in the loop that you'd practically have to be clasping directly on the blade, as the sheath wouldn't fit. So with only 2 snaps engaged, how long would it take before the weight would cause them to come unfastened and drop your weapon to the ground? I really wanted to like this belt, and while it was delivered quite quickly, having a useless belt come early is kinda pointless. I'd recommend you look elsewhere for an actual baldric or sword belt, rather than get one of these. Let the buyer beware.

Great accessory!
Does what it's supposed to do. I've had a Master Sword for a little over a year now. I got one that isn't real leather, so I guess it really depends on who you buy it from to where it is real or fake. It isn't a belt you put around your waste, you put it on your shoulder. It has a very tight grip on the sheathe, but that's a good thing. I leave the belt on all the time now. Since I do, I'm able to just have it hang on the wall with a single nail. Before, I had the sheathe alone lying on three nails on the wall, which isn't very nice since the slightest wrong move would knock it down. But anyway, it will work with most swords, it is just advertised for Master Sword owners like myself. I wear it around the house a lot now, it's fun. Like I said before, some sellers make it out of leather, and others it's fake. Either way, it still works the same leather or not. I also got free 2-day shipping from Amazon Prime. I am very happy with this addition to my Zelda collection.

Ren Fair fare
Have to say this is a very nice product. Leather is heavy....very sturdy throughout. I have to return it because it is too large, wrapped around my body too much so the sword ended up in an uncomfortable position. I'm sure it is a great fit for a man. But I'm an average sized women. Also when I put my sword on with it the whole deal was just too heavy for my shoulders to bear. After an hour my neck would have been exhausted, let alone go all day at the Fair. I'm going to have to use a waist belt and frog which I thought would get in my way a bit more than a back holder. Would go without a sword, but mine sort of makes my outfit. I returned this item with no charges to me and was credited immediately. You can absolutely count on this dealer to work with you. I would buy from them again, and probably will as they have many items that are what I need for Ren Fair costumes. Kudos to the dealer.
