The only reason this gets 4 stars is because, like others, the wood cracked when screwing in. Only in one place and it’s not noticeable or structural.Other than that they are sturdy and assembled easily. Kind of minimalist and the design helps not to enclose a room which makes you think you can’t fit on as much as you actually can.I waited for this design to be back in stock so now have another set on the way.

Wanted to try ladder shelving without committing a large amount of money. I thought I’d see how they look and possibly upgrade at some point. Now that they’re up and in place I don’t even need to upgrade to more expensive ones. I assembled them on my own and it was dead easy. They’re fairly heavy once up but that’s a sign of how sturdy they are. They look way more expensive than they were. I paid £40 each for two and I’m very happy with them. The wood is quite dark but it looks great.

Easy enough to follow instructions, but I have never seen so many fixings in my life. Ikea eat your heart out. I think here must have been 100 bits & pieces.Looks great though, and exactly what I wanted.

I bought 2 of these. One I put together and it was ok. The 2nd had a wrong shelf, which I found only once I'd almost finished building it. The packaging had already gone to the recycling. I contacted Amazon (it was AmazonBasics, so they are the seller) and they told me me to return it. I explained that the packaging had gone and that all I needed was a single shelf, and asked if they could exchange the single shelf. We then went round and round in circles about returning the product - it weighs 20kg, and would need a big box and I don't know how I'd get it back to them anyway, as I can't carry it as I'm disabled. They then told me that it was my fault for disposing of the packaging - I get that, but it still doesn't get over the issue of getting the thing back to them. Customer service was clearly reading from a script in a call centre. Bottom line is - if it's good, great. If it isn't, you've got problems, especially if you happen to be disabled.

Woman here. Assembled it by myself and we all know how clueless women are when it comes to assembling furniture! The directions are very clear to understand and it was fairly easy to do! Took me about 30 mins to an hour (sorry, didn’t time it!) Looks great, very sturdy and well made.

So pleased with it, bought a second one!

Ladder shelf is lovely! Nice size for bedroom fits at side of brace perfectly. Problem is the wood had cracked when screwing in a nail & it’s clear that it isn’t great quality. I hope it holds together and doesn’t fall apart now that it is cracked.
