Perfect replacement
My old westinghouse remote finally died on me so I needed a replacement and I wanted this remote over just a universal one. Works perfectly out of the package with no issues so far.

Not sure why it wouldn't work.
I bought this remote for model DW32H1G1 so I could switch inputs from cable to a Roku set top box. My old remote died a long time ago. I put batteries in (which I checked to be good) and nothing. I called Westinghouse and they were unable to supply a reason why it wouldn't work except to call my cable company. I'm not sure what using a cable company has to do with the tv remote. It should at least turn the tv on which it didn't. The cable company couldn't help me either, he did have me do a test to see if the remote was good. I pointed my smart phone camera at it and pushed the remote power button and the light on the end of the remote flashed which means it is a working remote. it just wouldn't work for me. So, now I have no way to use the Roku because my cable remote doesn't have an enter button and on my tv I must hit enter once a input is selected.

Westinghouse RMT-17 TV Remote Control: It took a while to get the remote to work. It is not fully functional but will do. I received it as promised, via mail delivery. The item looks new.

RMT-17 Remote for the 24" HDTV Westinghouse
It got my order within 3 to 4 days. I was hesitant because the same remote that came with the tv didn't last a 6 months. This remote seemed to be a newer version, less delicate than the previous one. It works well and only under $7 dollars. Great deal and a good buy, now I adjusted the settings after upgrading our satellite box to HD. Now the reception and color settings are incredible. We are enjoying our 24 inch hd tv in the kitchen to the maximum experience. Buy this if you need it.
