Audio quality is awesome. Any issues are likely due to poor cell connection, not this unit.
I read several reviews that stated that audio was not up to par or that this unit did not perform well. Having held several conferences now using this speakerphone, I would like to offer my observations. Audio quality: The largest room I've used this so far seats about 60 people. The speakerphone was set near one end of the room and had no problem picking up the voices from anywhere within and attendees could hear the speakerphone from anywhere within the room. Ease of use: Simple process of binding and operation. The only issue I have noticed is that there isn't a good means of determining battery charge level. Battery use: I ran the speakerphone for over five hours without any issues. I'm not sure how much charge remained but it was still running strong. My cell phone that I was using was at about 70% remaining charge when I concluded the conference so I don't think there is a heavy power toll for using the speakerphone. Connectivity. During one of the conferences, I did have occasional sporadic cutouts for both directions of audio. I believe that this is the fault of the cell phone's connection to the tower and not a fault of the P710e. If your cell signal is poor, then the results will be poor. I cannot see how anyone could blame Logitech for that. With regards to the connection between phone and speakerphone, it was rock solid. Portability: This has a small footprint, is easily transportable, does not need power if properly charged and can be placed just about anywhere. Audience response: I had several people approach after the meeting to ask about this unit. They were impressed by its quality, performance and price. They ordered their own sets. I would recommend this item. Its small size and awesome performance make this a great purchase. I carry this to meetings that I am attending and have used it once to assist where the presenter was going to use a cell phone alone as the speaker phone (the hard line was down). This little guy helped tremendously.

I was looking and searching for a nice speaker that helped me to get through those LONG conference calls when I worked from home. I am not exaggerating, if I tell you that I have been looking for a reasonably price speaker, clear and compact for one year or so. After my search quests from different website, I came back to Amazon ( I always come back here... LOL). I found this Mobile Speakerphone and I finally ordered it, assuming that I will return it. Boy… Was I wrong! First, the Brand is Logitech! I LOVE their stuff... from solar keyboards to their cute Wireless Mouse! So... let me not get too excited and explain why I like this item: 1. It is amazingly light & compact with its own zipper storage bag that comes in the package. 2. The section that holds your mobile phone is perfectly designed so when you are done with your calls, you can close the section by sliding it and storing it in the zipper storage/bag that came with the product. ** I have iPhone 6 Plus** and it fits perfectly without any issues. 3. Sound quality!!! OMG... To me it is clear and I can hear everyone on the call very well, I also happen to know that when I speak with my co-workers, they are able to hear me clearly. I have no interference with Bluetooth technology in this product. 4. On the Right side of the speaker, you can see 4 control / Options: you can use a head set, your battery, reset button, On/Off button to turn the speaker on/off. You can connect this to your outlet and enjoy it. The wire can be wrapped underneath the speaker to control the length of the wire that you need. 5. I like this speaker because it is easy to put it in your backpack/bag and travel with it. 6. On the surface of the speaker when you turn on the speaker, you see 5 buttons: Red/Green with a picture of a phone handle, which is for you to use to turn on your mobile phone and 2 speaker button with + and - signs on them: those are your sound control level, and finally a Microphone with an X on it, which is your speaker control / AKA Your Mute button. When you turn on the Mute your lights changes from Green to Red indicating that you are on Mute! Which is a good thing! God knows, how many times I spoke while on Mute so this is good reminder for me to turn off the mute when I am ready to speak :-) **NOTE** When you put your Mobile phone on Mute and your speaker is not on mute you are still on Mute (Don't ask how I know this... LOL Just wanted to pass this on. :-) So... Sorry for the long review, I just wanted to pass on what I use this speakerphone for and to me it is 5 Starts :-) Good quality, compact and so easy to use :-) I also check the Logitech Website and they are selling this speaker and also others, so if you want to check them out here is the link: http://www.logitech.com/ Don’t forget to compare prices. I bought it from Amazon, because as a Prime member I get free shipping ☺ So I hope this is helpful to you all. Have Fun ☺ GO4IT

Good so far
I guess I've had this product for about a month now. I've had no problems with it. The Bluetooth link has been solid, the sound quality has been good, and the people I have spoken too have said it sounded fine and have never complained. I speak from about 3 feet away, though, and have never tested further away or with more people in the room. Also, I am in a home environment where it is typically only me making noise. The volume also seems adequate for my needs. I have used this device once for music - Pandora being played on the same phone I talk on. I was outside painting, and I wanted a little music. The device worked fine for that (for a couple hours I think), and that is basically the extent of my off charge / battery / music testing of the device. I don't like that the device turns itself off when on charge and if it hasn't received a sound from the phone in a while. Its saving grace is the fact that if you get a call and the device is off (but paired to the phone), you cut it back on and it instantly answers. I have the same complaints as some others as far as the button placement is concerned. I haven't mistakenly "fat fingered" multiple buttons yet, but it's bound to happen. The touch sensitive buttons are nice, but waay too close together - particularly the mute and hang-up buttons. I noticed this before purchasing the device, and decided to chance it. I do not regret it. It's not a breaker. So to summarize, it's been great so far. I am hard pressed to give anything 5 stars unless its basically perfect, so right now I'm knocking one off one star specifically because of button placement and the fact that the device turns itself off automatically after a period of time with no sound coming from the phone, even on charge. Off charge, that is to be expected - on charge, it should not cut itself off.

Works Perfect
I have been looking for a good bluetooth speakerphone to use with my iPhone for quite some time now, after doing a lot of research I tried the Phillips WeCall bluetooth speakerphone and although I really wanted to love it I just could not get it to work. I could hear the person on the other end perfectly, but they could not hear me. I even sent it back for a replacement and the second one did not work as well. This lead me to purchase the Logitech P710e, I ordered it from Amazon (great service as usual) and what a difference. Works perfectly, sound on both ends is crystal clear. My one complainant with the iPhone is my speakerphone is not loud enough in most cases, the logitech corrects that problem in a big way. When I asked who I am am talking to on the call they say I sound like I am on a land line phone not a speakerphone. You also do not need to be right on top of the speakerphone to work, which makes it very useful when you have multiple people on the call. I read some complaints about the buttons on top of the unit, but I have not had any issues. They do require a softer touch but once you get use to them they work great. I also use this as a bluetooth speaker to play music from my iPhone and it works quite well, I wouldn't say its as good as a Bose sound dock, its not meant to be that, but I use it as background music while I am working and it sounds pretty good, plus its very portable. The attached USB chord, which wraps up and stores on the unit is a very nice add (never have to worry about losing it). Charges quickly and seems to last a long time. Bulit in stand for your phone is also a nice add. Overall I am very happy with this unit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the convince of a bluetooth speakerphone that is portable and has excellent sound quality.

I have amend my previous review
Just received today. The tone quality is excellent; clarity is excellent but I can also understand that is greatly dependent on the calling party's phone as well. I've only used this with my cell phone but it will plug into my desktop and can be used with Skype. All in all, I am very impressed. I don't yet know how long the battery will last but I imagine it should make it through a normal business day with no issue. UPDATE 2/15/19: I received this unit in mid-December and have used it daily since then. Initially all was well but in the last few days, battery life has plummeted and call quality has greatly degraded. Incoming voice is fine but outgoing people says I am breaking up. I quit using and went back to my Logitech H800 headsets and all is well so I do not believe this is a problem with my phone / bluetooth. The unit supposedly has a two year warranty so I'll be testing the ability to return to Logitech for some type of repair or replacement. But for now, I'd have to say don't buy. If the Amazon return window had not already have closed, I'd seek to return as defective.

Excellent and practical for conference calls on your cell
New job with new client meant that I was going to be having lots of conference calls on my cell phone. I wanted a speakerphone with a clear microphone and speaker. After much researching, I settled on this Logitech P710e and have been *extremely* happy with it. Long battery life, good user interface, good background noise filtering. Other parties say they can barely tell (or can't tell) I'm on a speakerphone unless I wander far far away from the mic. I can also connect it to my computer for Skype, and it can work as a bluetooth speaker (mono) for music in a pinch. The opening to hold your phone up is a nice and clever addition, and the mechanism appears to be well made - no sense of flimsy plastic parts that might break if you aren't delicate. I am not a face-time user myself, but it is perfectly suited to holding your phone at a good angle for face-time discussions. I have a new iPhone 6 that just arrived and I am just a little nervous that it might not fit quite as well and my previous phone, but since I don't face time anyway, it's not really that relevant. These aren't complaints, per se, but wishes for improvements: some tactile feedback on the buttons would be a nice improvement, although you do get a sound and a light change to let you know it is responding. I also have an iPad mini that doesn't quite fit the stand unless I remove the case. That's admittedly a finicky point, but the fit is so close that just a little more would be wonderful.

it pairs easily with my iPhone and the sound quality was great
I bought the Logitech Mobil Speakerphone 5 months ago; it pairs easily with my iPhone and the sound quality was great. It worked great for the first 4 months, since the sound quality periodically becomes garbled and I cannot understand the person(s) on the other end and they cannot understand me. When this happens I have to switch to the iPhone setting from the Logitech to my iPhone and then back to the Logitech. Sort of resetting the Logitech. Very disruptive when on a conference call with a customer!!! I cannot recommend this product. I just ordered the Plantronics Calisto 620 to give it a try.

Two Days, A Dozen Conference Calls
Overall, it is a good device with one annoying problem. I used it for two days as I worked from home and participated in a dozen conference calls. Pairing with the phone is easy. I use the NFC pairing though all it does it activate the BlueTooth. No on-going NFC communication, My Samsung Note II in an Otter case does not fit in the stand. That is not a big deal, use the Otter case stand. Microphone works well. No issues with people hearing me as sometimes happens with the Blue Tooth headset I used in the past. 90% of the time the speaker is very good - clear, loud sound. The annoying problem is sometimes it gets "growly." Not an echo. More like what you get when someone is on a cell phone while driving. Low male voices seem to trigger the effect. I can stop the growl by switching to the handset's speaker phone and back. Tht does get annoying when it happens several times during a call.
