BMW X5 / E70 Good value, no 4wd error code
Bmw X5 E70, 3.0 si 188k mi. Error 4wd. Replaced with this, several months later no issues. Please be aware that different tires brands and worn tires between frt /rr axle lead to premature failure.

Perfect fit, about 45min repair
I’ve had mixed luck with aftermarket bmw parts but this actuator was a perfect fit. It took about 45min to replace and fixed my 4x4, abs and brake light. You’ll need some 3/8” socket extensions and a bmw socket set for the actuator

don’t purchase..
packaging and product looked amazing out of box, was super excited to fix my 4x4, traction control light and service brake light. unfortunately after installation it didn’t work. got rid of all light but left 4x4 light. programming it didn’t work either… bought used one and fixed all my issues. don’t buy, wish they’d give my money back but will not..

Fixed the 4x4 lights.
Swapping this part in for the factory one was not a terrible job. As soon as I started the car after replacing the motor the 4x4 light was gone. Haven't had a chance to try the AWD, but I see no reason it wouldn't work and I am perfectly happy that the light is off.

Make sure it the right one
Not the right one according with the specifications on Amazon this parts should have fit my Car.. I ..ordered this part for my 2007 BMW I installed it I test drove my car and the 4x4 light didn’t go away I went and purchase another one at a local warehouse parts and problem solved . I guess I’ve no choice but to keep it

Great fit
Surprisingly worked well fox X3. Dashboard signals and error codes were gone (few weeks for now). Avoided me replacing the whole transfer case.
