Waste of money
I had read about this product on a decorating blog which raved about it and I admit I didn't read the product description carefully. But it's essentially just two pieces of poster board with a strip of foam tape for $10. I paid $2 for 10 pieces of poster board minus the tape at my local paint shop and they worked just as well.

This product was a waste of good money for me
This product was a waste of good money for me. Paint went on just fine however, after one wall placement, the adhesive stopped sticking and I could not move around the room which for me was key in looking at lighting, etc. One of the above reviewers said "Small Wall can be moved around your room, repositioned to see the color from many angles" - NOT my experience at all. I had to use masking tape on the back of ALL the squares - not one retained the adhesion. Very frustrating. Gave it 2 stars only because my walls had been skim coated and that might have been the issue as there was some dust residue on the walls. If that is your situation, be warned. Thanks -

Perfect tool for the home decorator!
These small sample boards are perfect for the home decorator who has a hard time " picturing" color on their walls. I can move the paint sample from wall to wall, room to room. I have also used them for 'place holders'. while hanging pictures. A great tool to have in you r toolbox!

Portable solution for testing paint colors
Getting ready to paint? Testing paint colors on a surface large enough to see the color is critical to making your best color decisions. Now, Small Wall is finally available from Amazon...you don't even have to go to a store to get it. No primer needed to test paint colors using this new product. Tip 1: Use a foam or microfiber roller, 4" or 6" size is fine, to apply paint to your Small Wall boards. Do NOT use a brush. Evenly cover the surface of your Small Wall sample board. Use 2 coats of paint, just as you would if painting your own walls. Color always comes out better with the 2nd coat. Tip 2: Don't expect all deep-base colors to cover in 2 coats. Because of the way paints are made, the deep base colors are often less opaque, so you just need more applications. Tip 3: Then, where you're ready to paint on your walls, use the right primer. In the case of deep base colors, you can get the primer tinted to the same formula as your top coat. Then, 2 coats of finish will probably do it! Tip 4: Enjoy! Small Wall can be moved around your room, repositioned to see the color from many angles. There are 2 to a pack, so you can do 2 pieces of one color or 1 piece of 2 colors.

So glad I found this
This is a great product... until now I had been painting swatches directly on the wall, and then living with multi-colored walls for months while I made my decision. The fact that it doesn't curl up like posterboard does makes it worth the money. Plus once you've made your decision on one room and move on to the next room, you can just paint over it. Do be careful though, if the plaster job or paint job on your walls was not done properly, the adhesive can pull it off. The previous owners of my house plastered over wallpaper, and the adhesive pulled off a chunk of plaster.
