This is easy to assemble and breakdown. I found it less difficult to pull across loose beach sand but it still gave us a tough time in some spots. I also wish it was a bit wider. All in all a well made wagon.I was able to fit 2 lounger beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a small beach bagged packed with snacks and beach accessories. It’s not big enough to hold a cooler but I anticipated that.

My wife and I are in our late 70s, and carrying groceries from the car to our kitchen is one of our greatest physical challenges. This wagon is exactly what we needed. The oversized wheels have no problem rolling up the one step from our garage into the house. And the ease with which it folds up for storage was surprising — smooth as silk. We're very happy with this purchase. It includes two cup holders on the front panel, but it no longer features the collapsable tray on the backside. Nevertheless = five stars.

I think this is a great cart. Well-built and a lot of thought to its design. Very easy to open and close, solid frame that carries a lot of items and the tires and control are good on the beach.

This wagon is fantastic for beach days. The wheels are large and rolls in soft sand with ease, to the point that my 5.5 year old begs to pull the wagon when we are at the beach.The only suggestions I would make is to add a true brake system. There is no break system so the wagon will want to roll away from you if you are on any kind of incline. Also, while the handle does have the ability to lock into place when lowered, it is inconvenient if/when you are stopping for a moment to lock the wheel this way when corralling the kids or picking up something that has fallen or whatever it may be.Regardless this is the BEST beach wagon we have found thus far and we have tried ALL of them.

On our recent vacation to Coronado island, we were concerned with which wagon to buy? What will carry everything and not get stuck in the sand? After a bit of research, we purchased this wagon. I was not excited about the $120 price tag as it seemed a bit excessive when compared to the other lower price point options. But I will say that this wagon did everything we needed it to do and more. When you hit the beach and the soft sand, it is tough to pull any wagon through that is loaded up. Our 14yo lad did a great job. One thing I noticed while he was pulling everything is that while it was tougher, the wheels continued to turn. They did not get bogged down. While at the beach, I would watch others using their wagons only to see that their smaller and skinner wheels would get stuck in the sand and stop turning. This turns a relatively straightforward exercise into literally dragging dead weight through the sand.Back to our story, our son was able to pull our wagon through the soft sand. The wagon carried our cooler (ice/drinks/sandwiches) along with 3 full sized boogie boards, all the sand tools, towels, footballs etc. I would follow behind the lad while he was pulling and I positioned the umbrella so it was sticking out the back of the wagon. This allowed me to "help" by putting my hand on the umbrella (out the back) and help give a little push while he is pulling. This was MORE than enough to lighten the load and get the wagon through the soft sand. Once you get near the water, the wagon takes minimal effort to roll to your final destination. Pulling the wagon on hard ground is a breeze.Now we read some stories on how this wagon is set up with the front wheels positioned inside the outside wheels. This CAN cause a tip over if you do not probably load up the wagon. Put all of your heavier items (cooler with ice/food) and 3 boogie boards in back and that eliminates (or significantly minimizes) the wagon's ability to tip. For the week we were in Coronado, our 14yo lad tipped the wagon once on Day 1. As he was still learning on how to drive the wagon, he learned what not to do and never again tipped the wagon over for the remaining six days. So that is a non issue for us.Truth be told, while the $120 is a stiff price to pay, this wagon is top of the line. We had a few people on the beach ask us about it as they were impressed. Once you are done using it, you grab the metal white bars in front and back and the wagon collapses down like an accordion. The wagon comes with with external sleeve that you slide over the collapsed wagon to secure it for packing in your car or at home. This really is a slick wagon once you get past the $120 price tag.

I stand by my answer.For an update, after years of quality service making many, many trips across grass, asphalt, concrete, soft sand, hard sand, shipwrecks, and a few washed-up kraken carcasses along the shore all the while keeping us safe from an unprovoked Allosaurus attack and hauling quite the load comprised of an inordinate amount of toys, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, hopes, dreams, ambitions, and my dislike of Communism, I'm now in the market for a replacement as the waters, winds, and sands of time have rendered my beach wagon inoperable. When water, sand, and wind are combined with time, mountains are leveled, canyons are built, and entire landscapes, once familiar and seemingly everlasting, are radically transformed to the point where we wonder were they ever really how we remembered them upon our first encounter.From a value perspective, this is a winner. It punched above its weight time and again. It was not used nor ever expected to haul excessive cargo despite the weight my hopes, dreams, ambitions, and dislike of Communism register. When used with even a mild degree of prudence by people ranging in age from 5 - 75, I never saw it fail. I might have been fortunate to get one that proved more durable than others.Later this month, I will be joined by some men and women, strong men who ventured to far off lands to battle for freedoms and returned home to work the earth, and strong women who crusaded against inequality and taught children the difference between good and evil, to show our respect for the years of service we enjoyed. Together, we will honor our fallen friend.I don't know what the future holds. As I look around, I see the world changing at a concerning pace. The familiar becomes the unknown. For years, despite the heartache, the trials, the tribulations, the defeats, the pain -- through it all, I knew what I would be towing to the beach. Now -- now times are different. They are uncertain and that worries me. I worry I might not make it to the sandy shores or if I do, what will I have with me? What dangers lurk out there now that I am alone? I don't know if my fears are unfounded. I guess I just miss my friend.
