I mainly use these pliers at home for changing out hooks off split rings on my lures. Really well made and works as expected. I like the slim lightweight design as I needed something easy on the hands when doing split ring hook removals and installs.

It's hard to tack on a feature or something specifically I appreciate about this doohickey. It really does what it's intended to! At the price point it's offered it's very hard to find something that beats the bang for the buck. That being said I mainly use this to help spool and pick out some pesky nests in my baitcaster, cut tag ends and braid and remove hooks from smaller fish. I wouldn't rely on this as a dehooker or anything more specific than the use I've gotten from it but it's definitely a very practical fishing tool.

Very high-quality small fishing pliers with very basic features. No frills...just high quality and compact. Fits nicely in the small Ghosthorn backpack. Great for SoCal surf fishing.

So far so good with these little pliers. Gave them a try after losing yet another expensive pair. Nice and handy for cutting though useless for hook extraction. They will break if forced beyond it's means. Still, for $10, a good deal. The longer cutting blades seem to be holding up much longer than those zinc blades that quickly dull and are expensive to replace. I mean, why the heck should you have to replace blades on a $30 and up pair anyway?

These things are a must! I use them every time my son and I go fishing. Clips right onto my tackle bag and easy to grab in a pinch. Helps remove tough hooks and changing lures quick. Saves the teeth for sure :)

I ordered 3 things but only got one I ordered every thing at the same time with the same card why did I not get them the card is good use it all the time

This is good quality and the stretchy cable keeps it attached to my sling bag. I ordered 2 and they are well worth the price. They are light weight and my only issue is, I had a hook that had straightened and needed to be bent back into a circle. The pliers twisted from the torque. I will add another pair of pliers with snips to bend hooks in the future.

I just opened the package with the small plier. Supposed to be 420 stainless steel construction. Stuck a magnet to them and it stuck hard! Nice pliers but are NOT stainless steel. CORRECTION; 420 stainless steel is a type of stainless steel, However it is not what is considered rust/corrosion resistant as 302-304 etc. stainless steel. I am up starring 3 cause they are decent construction, I was unaware of such a wide variation of "stainless steels"

Wee made fishing tool, priced much lower than many others. Have used extensively and shows no sign of wear. Rcommend.

Solid pliars

Don't buy this. It's great except for the spring which keeps falling out. Nearly lost it about 3 times on one fishing trip. Plus when trying to return it's apparently ineligible for returns due to health and safety reasons apparently. Buyers beware. Now I'm stuck with a pair of pliers which will become absolutely useless once I lose the spring eventually.
