1791 Gunleather 2.2 Mag Holster - Double Mag Pouch for Double Stack Magazines, OWB Magazine Pouch for Belts

This is a very well made mag holster. I don't think you can find one of higher quality. It's tension adjuster works great and fits 9mm mags as snug or loose as you could want. It is curved just right to fit nicely. It's made of thick high quality leather and it is double stitched next to the magazines. All edges are nicely rounded. The dimensions are designed so a belt loop will fit in the middle on 9 belt loop pants.

I have to stay I did not expect to be so impressed off that bat. From the moment I opened the package, to handling the Mag Holster, any apprehension I had for spending money on this item drifted away. The craftsmanship can not be topped and for the price, I honestly consider this price a steal given the leather quality, strength, and sturdiness. The Classic Brown is a beautiful color, I am biased as this is my favorite leather tone. 1791 Logo is so cool, I wish it was in the front, haha. That well placed and of course I hope everyone understands the significance of 12.15.1791 My only worry at this moment which I will update as I only had this for a day, however was so impressed by 1791 decided to write this review before I forgot. I had to cover my Glock 19 Gen 5 Mags with wax paper as man that sucker was tight. I'm expecting a break in period obviously. However hard to pull out at the moment. *UpDate 2.25.2018* - Used Ziplock bags by placing the 15 round mags ( Gen 5) inside bag and wrapping twice over. Inserted in pouches with some solid pressure. Left overnight about 12 hours. Break in is going over smoothly. So happy with this purchase.

Like all quality leather products it requires a breaking in period. The tension screws make sure that you get a custom fit. I would recommend a drop of loctite on the threads of both tension screws for piece of mind. Good fit and well made mag pouch. Matches my 1791 holster for my Glock 19, Gen 5 perfectly in color and finish. Great product, well designed from good heavy leather. Excellent value as well, compared to other brands. Very satisfied.

My first 1791 holster of any type. May not be my last purchase from 1791. The mag holster isn't typically the type I carry because I prefer ones that have snaps and are easily removed without having to take my belt off. However, I'm impressed with the looks and construction of the mag holster. It's easily concealed, and it appears to be of sturdy leather that I hope will last a long, long time. It's still in the break-in period (I just got it), but it feels comfortable and holds my spare mags securely.

When it first arrived , i could tell it was quality leather and very well made. however, at first glace it looked a little bulky. When you put it on you realize that its not bulky at all, it really sits very snug against the body and concealed very well. The screw adjustment is outstanding and you get the ideal retention on your magazine . The comfort of leather is second to none. kydex is ok , but doesn't come close to leather.

There is leather work and then there is excellent leather work. Good holsters can be hard to come by. Finding what works for you can even be harder. I personally have a bucket of holsters that never made the cut for what ever reason many being craftsmanship or they were in fact just junk. That being said, many are expensive. Most leather products if built right will last a lifetime and will slowly break in making them even better. This double mag pouch is really pretty awesome. It fits my VP mags perfectly and will be a nice addition to my EDC. I expected it to be half as nice or even a third as nice as other comparable products in its same class due to the lower price and was pleasantly surprised. Even better was that I got it in one day. The only sad part now is that my EDC just got two mags heavier. Thats the only downside that I could find.

Great product. The leather is a little thicker than I was expecting it to be, but that just means it’s gonna be durable I like it.

I use it with my P320 mags. It could be a bit tighter but they have not fallen out yet.
