But what a delightful surprise to find how quality the stools are. Easy to assemble, solid construction (though mind the weight limits), and quite appealing to the eye. The clear (yes, clear) acrylic and low profile look very contemporary. Don’t expect to lean back in these like you’d do in your Lazy-Boy, but scooted up to your counter they’re great. Adjustable height and the pneumatic tube given some real comfort pluses. Review: Very nice! - These chairs look great, and work as advertised. Assembly was easy after we figured out one hitch. There's a black plastic piece inserted in one of the parts that must be removed before assembly, but the instructions don't mention it. Apparently it's just there to protect the product during shipping. The stools are comfortable. They just take a little getting used to because they are very narrow, but I consider the narrow width a benefit.
