Prepara Herb Savor Pod 2.0, White/Green

chives i got last week are greener, stronger and longer, im just gonna snip them from the top when i use them from now on, this product is genius. i recommend it 9.5/10 the pod is a little hard to close and oddly shaped, but overall is a good product

Got this and followed directions for use exactly as suggested. Have used this with dill and cilantro and can say that this does indeed keep these fresher and greener for longer than just normal storage in the fridge. My only complaint is none other than my own. I should have gotten the bigger one. This can only hold a good handful herb bundle. If you do a lot of cooking or keep lots of fresh herbs go for the bigger one. If you do not then this one will do a fantastic job for you

The product is excellent, but I go to shut it and it does not stay close. It will be open. Unless the packaging was handled without fragile care, maybe a piece broke while on delivery. I will buy more in the future though. It is very practical.

I gave this product 4 stars, because it does work, but I wish I had bought a more expensive one. The closure comes open a lot, which can expose your herbs or allow them to fall out if its crowded in there. Other than that, it did keep my herbs fresh for an insanely long amount of time!!

I didn’t send it back because it worked so well.Have Cilantro in it for 4 weeks & most of it lasted beautifully.Problem is it doesn’t snap closed so I wrapped 2 rubber bands around it & placed it in a plastic bag as it leaks a little water.Still using the product though.

I bought two of these - one doesn't close and lock so is effectively useless. The other one closes but it hard to open. They have very flimsy hinges and clasps. Used one for basil and put that in the refrigerator. Two days later all the basil was brown. So, I thought maybe it was the temperature so I did a little experiment. (See photo). I placed one half of the portion of basil in this unit and left the other half in the plastic cup in which they were sold. I then put both halves on the same place on the kitchen counter. You can see the basil is better off in the plastic cup after 4 days. Please also note the rubber band around the Prepara as it has not closed properly since day one. Total waste of money.

I love it, it actually works although after 3 weeks some of the leaves started to turn but it saids on the box it lasts for 3 weeks so. I love that I can cook my food with fresh herbs every day just by cutting a few leaves of Cilantro and all my other herbs I use. I just wish it was wider to fit all of my Cilantro. I just ordered 5 more to put all of my other herbs I use. It’s awesome it saves me a lot of money and it doesn't go to waste either besides what I do is I use the leaves that don’t fit in the pod first and once that’s done I start using the one I saved in the pod. I love it it makes me feel like Chef and what I love most I can but all the leafy herbs I love without worrying it’ll go to waste most of all I love that I can cook with out the powder condiments like I use to I’ll use like 3 fresh and the rest powder I usually freeze the fresh ones in (Sofrito style)

I have to admit I was very skeptical about this product. Ultimately I was willing to take the risk because it was recommended in a Food & Wine article. My only regret is I didn’t purchase it sooner! I used it for my cilantro and it lasted for 3 weeks!! I was amazed and so happy. I follow the instructions and change the water every couple of days. Loved it so much I purchased another one for my green onions!

Ich anfänglich skeptisch, da es immer heißt, man sollte Kräuter nicht ins Wasser stellen, sie würden sonst vergammeln. Aber, dadurch, dass hier die Klappe geschlossen bleibt, entsteht eine Art Mini-Treibhaus und das scheint den Pflanzen sehr gut zu tun. Bei mir halten die verwendeten Kräuter (Basilikum, Petersilie, Koriander) deutlich länger als über andere, herkömmliche Methoden. Das Gehäuse passt bei mir auch gut in den Kühlschrank, aber wesentlich größer dürfte es auch nicht sein. Die Standfestigkeit bei geöffneter Klappe ist aber nicht so toll, da bekommt der Kräutergarten gerne mal Übergewicht, geschlossen steht er aber gut. Insgesamt ein gutes Produkt.

This is an updated version of an older, bulkier herb saver (by a different company) I much prefer this one as it takes up so mu less space in the fridge - and it really does work. Thank you.

Très efficace pour garder ses herbes coupées, fraîches beaucoup plus longtemps. Cet herbier est de bonne taille et plutôt facile à ouvrir

Very practical and useful.. before i used to have paper vegetables damaged fast but with these storage pods am having them fresh for more than 10 days
