The Ventures 2nd Edition interleaved Basic Teacher's Edition includes easy-to-follow lesson plans for every unit. It offers tips and suggestions for addressing common areas of difficulty for students, as well as suggested expansion activities for improving learner persistence. The Teacher's Edition also explains where to find additional practice in other Ventures components such as the Workbook, Online Teacher's Resource Room, and Student Arcade. Multi-skill unit, midterm, and final tests are found in the back of the Teacher's Edition. Also includes an Assessment CD/CD-ROM which contains the audio for each test as well as all the tests in a customizable format. Review: Good price, fantastic layout - As with most teacher's guides, this one includes lesson and activity suggestions. These suggestions are admittedly a little "rinse, repeat" each lesson, but it has a multitude of ideas for each one, and also includes tips for integrating previous lessons vocabulary and grammar into the subsequent lessons. The best feature, however, is that this teacher's guide isn't just a list of exercises and answers, which needs to be used literally alongside the student book. Rather, the answers appear on full-size reproductions of the pages in the textbook. This means that not only can a teacher solely use the teacher's guide, they can also hold it up and point to certain portions for the students benefit, and there's no tedious searching through walls of text to find the correct answers. Much like the Ventures series itself, this is one of the most concise and easy-to-use teacher's guides I've ever seen. Review: It is very good. - We use this at Hayward Adult School. It is very good.
