Babycake maker
It was a little intimidating at first, but by the second batch,I was very comfortable with it. I put 1/4 teaspoon in each hole, then plugged in the machine. (Using a little less than 1/2 teaspoon of mixture kept the cakes from getting the SATURN look)! It took a couple of minutes to heat up..within 4 minutes, the cakes were done. I unplugged the machine and filled the holes again..plugged in the machine and within 4 minutes,I was finished. In Eight minutes I made 24 Babycakes.Unplugging kept the bottom half from getting done before the top half. I used JIFFY Apple & Cinnamon muffin mix..worked like a charm! My wish would be a TIMER added to it. That would be very helpful!

Bad cake pop maker
I have five children, so I like to do things quick yet fun. Very disappointed in this product. First of all, the top and bottom plates were loose. First sign of a bad product. Second, the directions recommend greasing the "non-stick" plates which I did and then I heated it up. It started to smoke and burn the oil, which believe me, I barely left any on there to burn. Had to turn it off and cool it down to clean all the blackness off the plates. Had my batter ready and I filled in each well. It was difficult to tell by the lights (which only indicate red for power on, and green for ready to start, not when the cakes are actually done). It was not only difficult to check whether the cakes were done, but the handle and the entire unit was too hot to handle. The directions say to use pot holders or gloves when handling. Darn right. This is something I can't even involve my children in helping with. The cakes came out okay, probably not enough batter on my part, that's why I gave it at least one star. I did get 1 perfect ball out of 30 attempts. But I am going to do it Bakerella's way where she combines cake and icing and forms the balls herself. Sounds much easier to do than what I had to experience in the last hour.

Cake Pop Maker
I got this for my daughter for Christmas. So far, we have made one batch of cake pops with it. It works great. My only complaint is that the handle gets very hot, so I highly recommend adult supervision as well as pot holders! Ouch!

Cute Idea
We have been making cake balls for a while, but decided to try this cake pop maker. What a great idea - I love that it cooks rather quickly and has the perfect shape...However, there was a down-side to it - I would not recommend this for kids, it gets super, super hot and it not easily opened once the cake pops are done cooking - it took several tries (with a pot holder) to open before it finally did.I was also upset that I paid more than double what they were seller this same item for at Khols...

BabyCakes Pop maker a hit.
Decided to give this a try for some of the Christmas day treats. It was easy to use just took a couple of tries to get the right amount of batter in each pocket. Icing them was a little more of a challange but worth the effort. The grand kids loved them as well as the grownup kids.

Tasty little cakes 12 at a time
I made chocolate cake pops for a work event and everyone loved them. My husband begged for some of his own and really enjoyed the little bites of fresh cake. I also made the apple cider donut holes and they were very good. It is a little work to get the amount to fill the holes just right and when the machine gets really hot you have to work fast since they start expanding before you bring the lid down. In the future I plan to let it cool down a bit in between batches. Excellent product and tasty little cakes.

Nice, but wish pops were bigger and shape was not sphereical
I like the fact that these are little cake balls sans mixing with frosting but unimpressed by the spherical shape and size, they look like mini saturns instead of the perfectly round symetrical balls I need to produce a stunning pop.
