Not only do I like it, I loved it..!!! I’ve had it for over a month now, and I can’t find a single gripe....especially for the price. The blade is made of D2 tool steel, so it’s not hard, but super tough. It holds an edge, and you can bring it back to a razor edge with not much effort at all. It opens extremely FAST dew to the ball bearing, like a gator and closes easily with one hand. As previously mentioned, I have owned it for more than month as my EDC, and it has never failed to operate as designed and stated in the Amazon description. Would I recommend this knife...HELL yeah. I wouldn’t part with it for three times the money I paid for it. I had never heard anything from/about the manufacturer before, but for the price, I took a chance and was very happily surprised...I now own 2-3 other models from the same manufacturer and they’re all superb, in form, fit, function, and it is very aesthetically pleasing. The variety of multicolored G10 scales is a huge plus. In my humble opinion, run, don’t walk and get one for yourself, or a friend, which would be awesome gift for the knife guy/girl in your life. It looks and feels much more valuable than it is. Get ya one before they smarten up and raise the price...you’ll be extremely pleased. Just my opinion, no one paid me for this...I just love the knife. Will be getting more variances from this manufacturer before they smarten up..!!! I’m now gonna get another exactly like this one...As Doc Holiday said in the movie Tombstone: “One for each of ya”..!!!

Overall I like this knife! The stonewashed blade and blue scales make quite a statement. The knife is on the skinnier side from what I've carried in the past, but my grip feels secure on it. I don't know if it is truly D2 steel, but it keeps an edge well when you sharpen it. The blade is well-centered, and the lock up is fantastic; no wiggle at all. My two complaints: 1. the blade is almost too tight to flip. You have got to put a LOT of pressure behind it to flip it open. A little less pressure on the closed blade to have a faster opening would be preferable. Having said that, the bearing feels smooth. 2. it is a long blade. At around 4 inches, probably too long for an EDC. This also slows the flipping action down a little. If they had the same design around 3 inches, it would be perfect. But it does look intimidating when open with the longer blade, also switchblade-esque. Overall, great purchase! If you haven't bought an Eafengrow, find a design you like and buy it! You can't beat the build and price.

EF16 is easily the “Go To” of flipper knives. The jade scales make it more so! This is a very good looking pocket piece. This is a solid knife with befitting weight. It has a terrifically smooth operation opening it. In hand, it feels confident & comfortable. The blade is not over done, that not too long, not too short kind of thing. I simple like this design a lot. Again, the jade scales rock it! I have only praise for this piece of excellence. I recommend you get it & be grateful it is so affordable. I did, I am, & I am looking at picking up another one in a different color. Also, thinking I’ll be getting a couple of more in jade as gifts. In my opinion, there are other great choices out there in flipper knives, however, none are better than this one considering the entire package that it is. This one is a treat, a winner, and one very inexhaustibly cool carry knife. To some I expect it might be a bit hefty in weight. For me it is not so heavy to pry it out of my enjoying it for its crisp solid construction, looks, & appeal. And did I mention looks? Oh yes, I did! It would be an absolutely great decision to get one! Here’s hoping this review nudges towards creating a few more satisfied customers!

I have been using this knife for about 5 months as an EDC. I like the shape of the knife and the blade swings out easily with the flipper. I work at a culinary school and sharpen a lot of knives. This knife sharpens up well; however, it does not hold an edge. The sharpened Edge nicks easily. (Not sure if this is really D2 steel or if it is just not that hard?) I still carry it but I'm a little disappointed in the hardness of the blade and have to sharpen it more often. A great value at the price but could be better with a better steel heat treatment. The crosshatch on the G10 scale handle provides a nice grip. Would love an identical knife with a better blade steel, even if I had to pay more money.

What a value. Fit and finish is perfect. Blades is centered and flipper smooth. $ 50 knife for $15. Not a truck knife.

This is my first Eafengrow knife, I just got it so these are my first impressions: Feel: It's a little thicker and heavier than I expected but that's not a negative. Feels good in the hand, not at all slippery. Blade: The comes sharp but not really sharp, it remains to be seen how well it holds an edge (which is why this is a 4 star review instead of 5). The blade is firm, no side to side play at all. When opened everything is flush along the top, no drooping. The blade sits centered nicely when closed. Action: The action is smooth if a little slow, my current EDC has a spring assist so I'm used to a quicker action. I'm sure I'll get used to the ball bearing action. Misc: The clip is really tight, I may try to bend it a bit or just remove it. The Eafengrow logo on the blade looks suspiciously like the Electronic Arts logo (as others have mentioned) which kind of detracts from the overall look of the knife. Overall: For $20 you really can't go wrong with the EF16. Time will tell how durable it is and how well it holds an edge but out of the box it's well constructed, nice looking and feels good in the hand.
