Awesome game for siblings
My kids love this game. Found it at a board game cafe and my kids played (nicely!) together for quite some time. We've played it many times since at home, and there is always minimal fighting. Easy to learn, set up, etc. Great co-op game.

Good for ages 4-7
Both my four year old and seven year old could play this and enjoyed it. It has a little complexity with dice rolling but still very easy to play for young kids.

Great game to play with kids
Great game to play with kids under 10. Easy to follow instructions that made the game approachable. I love the cooperative nature of the game; it adds to the fun.

Delighted by Circular Board and Theme
This was a Halloween present for the kids. A smidgen advanced for the (newly-turned) 5 yr. old, who's an 'advanced' 5. The almost 7 yr. old picked it up perfectly. Both of them, as well as both of us, were pleased with the colors and graphics, which are simple yet complete bringing about a great fantasy theme for the game. We also own Race to the Treasure, which the kids also enjoy but Cauldron Quest is a much deeper game, and I think that it will have more long-term replayability for that reason. We've not won yet, and the game seems somewhat difficult without the aid of the adults pointing out which strategy should be prioritized at any particular time. I view this, however, as a learning experience and helpful aid for transitioning into older-child or adult games, where priorities are constantly shifting. I recommend this as a good family experience for 5+ kids with parents playing. It's quite engaging and we parents find that we're having fun with it too.

Great cooperative game
I have given this to three different families and they all have loved it! They said it's a great way to help show kids how working cooperatively is the way to achieve a goal. They said the game is fun and keeps kids attention without having competition against each other. Everyone wins or everyone loses. Highly recommend this game. The children were ages 6 and up.

So fun!
I play this with my 5 and 8 year old sons. They both love it. Cooperative games are a must sometimes in order to keep the peace between the kiddos. Easy to learn, cute pictures and game board, the kids even have to do some math while playing. They love rolling the dice and adding up their numbers to see if they got 12. They also learn the difference between even and odd numbers. All around a great game!

Fun and facilitates critical skills!
Fun cooperative game. Cute game premise. Facilitates learning of goal oriented strategizing, following directions, and good for reading comprehension for the older kids.

Excellent game
Really pleased with this game. I bought it together with Race to the Treasure because my grandson is very competitive and gets extremely upset when he loses at anything. So I was looking for something which we could enjoy, without having winners and losers and this fits the bill perfectly. There is still the competitive element, as you’re playing against the game, but everyone is on the same side, and it also encourages them to learn to work together. It took a few games before we could remember all the rules without checking back to the instructions, but it is not difficult to learn, and the various different elements help to make it more interesting. Grandchildren are 5, 6 and 7 and all love it.

Great Kids Cooperative game.
It took us a few minutes to work out what to do - but actual game play is simple - it is really nice to play together as a team and decide on strategy etc, much less arguing than with other board games - we love traditional games too. My children are 5 and 7 and I would say those are about the perfect age for this. We have beaten the wizard a few times and been beaten too. The actual game is nicely contructed out of solid card / plastic and seems durable with a nice design.

Poor quality pieces
Two tokens were printed incorrectly, when contacting the game company, Mindware, their response was pretty poor. They would not replace the pieces if you live outside the USA.
