Product installed just like the OEM part I removed. Works well. A couple hints if you are tackling this at home: No special tools needed. Even if you have a nice clip removal tool you’re probably going to break the old brittle light and/or mess up the supposedly reusable clips. No worries, this item comes with brand new clips pre installed. Also, after plugging in the wire and the washer fluid hose, test the item before you snap it into its hole because once you snap it in, you would risk cracking it to remove it. Lastly, unlike the other escape brake lights, this one needs the engine running for testing. Fits good, bright, and good value.

This part fit my 2014 Ford escape SE like a glove. It came with the metal security hooks already installed so there was no need to save or reinstall the old hooks. Secured nicely into the light cavity. The only hiccup was the prongs on the inside of the electrical connection for the light. They are very thin pieces of metal which can easily be bent. And when I plugged the connection together the first time the prongs did not line up correctly causing one of them to bend and not connect inside the female connector piece of the cars wire. I disconnected the wire and reposition the metal prongs. I then slowly installed the connector piece again making sure each prong was side each hole of the female connector piece. It lit right up and was good to go. I needed to replace the light in order to get my inspection sticker and it was a success.

Ok I'm over70 a woman and I installed this myself it wasn't easy but it does come with its own clips so didn't have to use the old ones which was good because I lost one inside the back gate lol easy to attach the wires and fluid hose and if works and it's nice and bright the hard part is getting g the old one off

Sturdy, easy to put on.

Product arrived on time and fit perfectly. Access from inside hatch, remove the trim covering immediately behind the light, to release old light and clips. New light comes with clips preinstalled (bonus!). Once ready to install light goes in bottom side first fitting behind the window glass to then snap in place with tow hand upward pressure.

Did work at all when mechanic tried to install it. Lame.

Ordered the light, it's always a task doing pulling the old part out and replace it. It fit and it works. Line up the new part before pushing it place, it is hard to pull it out without damaging it.

Took me a few minutes to figure out the replacement procedure, but, the product looked and worked as good as original. A+

Arrived quickly, fit perfectly and installed in around five minutes. Priced far below local stores.

Installed it about 6 months ago and now it’s stopped working. Fairly disappointed with the quality. I’d recommend avoid and spent a bit more for an OEM version so you don’t need to rebuy and reinstall another one…

Not something you want to rush when doing the replacement. The existing light unit is impossible to remove without breaking it. I also put liquid gasket all around it when replacing because of other reviews that stated water leaks. So face no leaks on this installation. Rubber gasket on the part looks very cheap quality otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating.
