Died within first 5 minutes. Updated to 5 stars after replaced.
Delivery was excellent. Condition was very good. Charged the Surface to 100 percent. Allowed me to make an Outlook account and then it died. Could not get screen to come on. Have to return item. UPDATE: Seller did send out another unit and it arrived in a couple of days. The replacement unit works great and as advertised. Nice job.

Pleasantly Suprised
I don't write reviews...ever. My 5 year old SP3 that I loved died 2 weeks ago and I was left in the vacuum of deciding to spend big bucks for a new computer or pull the trigger on a renewed/refurbished one for $300. Against my normal risk-averse personality, especially after reading some of the bad experiences and reviews, I opted to give it a try. I figured $300 is cheap enough that yes it would suck if it didn't work, but not the end of the world. Bough it, it came two days later, and I couldn't be more pleased. There's not a scratch on it and works beautifully. Picked up right where I left off with my old one. So far (~7 days into the new one) absolutely no problems or issues. Highly recommend. I'm sure there are lemons out there, but this has been like a brand new computer for me.

Not much correct
I received my tablet, but it came with the wrong charger. I tried to call the number on the Certified Refurbished card included in the package, but the line was disconnected so I ordered one. The tablet was advertised as having Windows 8 installed, which was the main reason I purchased it. However, I found out that it has Windows 10, rendering it useless for my needs. Although I can return the tablet along with the keyboard, case, mouse, and charger, that I purchased separately. This process will set me back to square one and involve a lot of time-consuming tasks.

Definitely not new, but in excellent "Grade A" condition
I've tested just about everything so far in a matter of two day and LOTs of updates. Many people are reporting different things so here is what I got... White, generic box, Surface Pro 3 with after market charger and after market Surface Pen, both of which work very well. I also got what I consider an added bonus... the back of my surface is cover with a brushed metallic vinyl to possibly cover up scuffs or marks on the back. What's nice is that is provides a layer of protection for my tablet. There are no visible wear signs anywhere on the tablet, unless they are under that vinyl, which I'm not removing. I've tested the keyboard cover, the USB port and the micro sd card slot. Still have to test the display out and I'll be happy. The only issue I've had is very minor and it's a software issue that may be related to all the updates. The Photos app is crashing right after it starts. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the tablet, just some windows glitch. This was quite a deal at $369 for a surface pro in such good shape. I paid more than that for my original surface pro a few years ago and that thing is heavy. Keep in mind I'm writing this review on day two of owning it, but so far, I'm very pleased.

Maybe I was just unlucky
The package arrived a few business days after I ordered it. The surface itself came packaged in a strange packaging insert, with the Surface itself held under film. Under the insert was the charger in its own box and a type cover that I didn't order. The type cover would have come as a pleasant surprise, however the type cover is damaged. The "L" and colon/semicolon button are broken out of the cover and I'm unable to pop them back in as the plastics underneath are also damaged. Not that it matters because when I popped it on to test it, the keyboard was completely unresponsive. Honestly I'm not surprised it's broken, as the cover wasn't secured in the box so it would have been really easy for the charger box to have bumped into the cover at any point in transit and caused the damage. As for the surface itself, there are a patch of some partially dead pixels just off center of the screen. This didn't bother me too much, as you can only notice them when the screen is black. The Surface itself functions pretty well, but the browser crashed multiple times on day one. I ultimately decided to send it back because the battery is awful. It cannot hold a charge for longer than 2 hours even though it says 4. I'm honestly surprised with the mediocre service I've been given, especially given all the positive reviews I saw. Just slightly more padding would have prevented the type cover from being damaged, and it doesn't take much effort to make sure the battery is still good.

Absolutely great purchase!
I don’t know what it is but this is absolutely wonderful product, sure it’s not going to be able to be used for heavy gaming but it is definitely great for office work. Even better, it’s 100% portable, it’s not bound to wires nor is it a bulky large heavy machine. Battery that lasts for multiple hours and a built in back stand further improving office usage. It definitely is faster than my actual PC and as I said before, portable. Personally It does take time to get used to a full on computer to be used in the form of a tablet but shouldn’t be to hard to adjust after all I have used a computer in the form of a handheld console like device. Screen resolution is very nice quality, exactly the quality of what I want. Addition to all of what I’ve discussed above the product was refurbished yet it feels so new, 5/5 stars.

Feels familiar which is a good thing
Glad we went with the Surface Pro. In the box... Surface Pro 3 Charger Generic Pen No manuals or documents Had to buy A keyboard Unorganized notes: -It's Windows so it's familiar. -Battery life is better than our previous laptop. Only had it a couple days so it's still too soon to truly judge though -it a good sized screen and still compact to travel -it came already logged on to a generic user so I had to do a complete wipe (good thing I'm somewhat tech savvy) - wish there were more ports (usbs) - solution is to buy a separate USB hub - the pen seems to be the "and" accessory. Don't know how to use it. It doesn't have a place in the surface pro to go. My opinion is it should live some where inside the surface pro like the Samsung note. But regardless of that, I dont know what to do with it. - unlike the iPads, the surface has separate logins so this has made it great for having my kids have their own accounts - the keyboard thing (not physical keyboard) is confusing. The keyboard pops up sometimes and other times I feel like I need to press some special magic function key to get it to pop up (it doesn't always work). - the Microsoft store seems more like a place where 3rd party companies are just trying to extract money rather than provide a service. (There are not a lot of apps anyways)
