Fluker's Repta-Clamp Lamp - Very well made clamp light. Packaging was good and protected the shades. Porcelain sockets are heavy and manage heat well. Used these with 150w heat lamps and had no issues. Ventilation holes near the socket allows the shades to stay cool. The clamp was heavy duty with a nice strong clamp strength. It was easy to aim the shade and then lock it into position. I have only used for 2 weeks but I am sure these will last a long time.

works great and covers a lot of the tank. cord length is long and it’s very sturdy. Not too heavy either.

cheaper than the other lamps out there but a higher wattage and higher quality, love it! i also like the feature of being able to apply a clamp or not instead of it being fixed to the product.

Used this for baby chicks. Kept them warm after they hatched, all 12 chicks survived the first 3 days after which we had to return them. The clamp is strong and we experienced no issues with it falling off—it is not heavy at all. Great quality for the price, served our purpose well.

Functions fine. The clamp could be better. It only rotates at one point and the clamp needs to be on a flat angle. This makes it difficult to choose the exact height of the lamp.

I love these lamps I buy them for all of my reptiles they are lightweight easy to use .the switch makes it easy to turn on and off they last for a long time they function better then some lamps I’ve bought

ITEM: Fluker's Repta-Clamp Lamp with Switch 8.5" PRO: Good price, rapid delivery, Spring clamp is strong. I'm ordering another one now (3 total), one for ceramic heater for bird in unheated room, one for ceramic heater for lizard, one for LED bulb to replace weak head lamp for close up projects. CON: Description is not clear if the unit comes with a lamp. It is a reflector with ceramic socket, spring clamp, and in-line off-on rocker switch. Since the switch rocker does not indicate which end is Power-ON, you may wish to mark that end with a little piece of colored tape/red fingernail polish. A little tricky putting the spring clamp on, and the wingnut needs to have larger wings for comfortable turning, but assembly process is easily determined. The ceramic socket and the aluminum reflector get very hot when a ceramic/bulb heater is used, so be sure to protect cord and hands from contacting the reflector.

Used my last light hood with bulbs from 75-150 Watts for 6 years without knowing it was only rated to 50 Watts. It burnt out one day and thankfully I was there, and realized this was why! This new light hood with clamp is the same size of hood, but rated to 150 Watts! Perfect! Has been working perfectly, left on 24/7 in a terrarium, for the last 8 months. Thanks Fluker's!

C'est la deuxième que j'achète, vu le bas prix j'étais hésitante mais au final c'est parfait, aucun point négatif à dire et ça peut supporter jusqu'à 150 watts donc parfait pour mes ampoules en céramique!!! Je recommande fortement et en plus c'est la moitié du prix des autres 💕

Was a little tricky to set up the handle as my box didn't have instructions but it works well.
