These blinds have proven to be a godsend. I was being woken up by light streaming through the windows each morning at 5.30am. Since we got these blinds, that has stopped happening. They are very effective for room darkening. They were easy to install (just cut to size, and apply the Velcro tabs). They are easy to put up at night and take down in the morning - it takes less than a minute. They fold up neatly into the included bag when not in use. Great value for money and honestly so worth the money spent.

I bought this for our bedroom to hopefully help our baby sleep. I was not expecting this to be so effective for the price but thought it might help. I am blown away by how well it works, especially if you follow installation instructions properly. Literally no light coming through and we all sleep so much better now. I used the Velcro attachments to a uPVC frame - brilliant.

We bought this after our neighbour recommended it. Our bedroom is in full sun from mid-morning and gets very hot. I usually draw the curtains and leave them closed all day to block out the heat, but it was hardly making a difference. We hung this during a heatwave and have felt the effect immediately! Our room is now so much more comfortable and I’m so pleased I bought it! Very easy to hang with the Velcro attachments. Took us no longer than 10 minutes to install! Highly recommend! We will be able to use this for many summers to come. A great investment!

Exactly what I expected! Room is nice and dark. Curtains are easy to install but one has to ensure the surface for the Velcro strips are prepared to instructions to ensure good adhesion Curtain itself is very light weight. Silver side does get a bit creased with the folding and unfolding but that doesn’t seem to impact the black out property of the curtain. Curtain is not hemmed so expect some degree of fraying. Not a looker but does the job beautifully. My parrots stay asleep/quiet until I take the curtain down Great product, can recommend

Needed a solution to the early morning sun affecting sleep, which will only get worse as the days get longer. I rent my home so am limited with choices, and cannot make permanent changes or do anything that may cause damage to the fixtures and fittings. Have tried an alternative product with suction cups but these don’t do well being put and and down daily. Read the reviews for easyblinds and decided it was worth a go. Our windows are relatively small, so one large blind was big enough to be cut in two and installed in two rooms. The worst part was cleaning the windows, I wanted to make sure the Velcro stays put so thoroughly cleaned and dried the frames. Once I’d figured out what went where and measured everything it was a simple installation, and the second window was even easier. I will probably but additional Velcro pieces for the vertical edges but there were just enough for the corners and top and bottom edges. These blinds are excellent at keeping the light out. I put them up in advance of bedtime, so the sunlight doesn’t trick our brains into thinking it’s awake time. Once they are up it really does feel like nighttime. My son slept really well, and is very pleased with his, and am I with mine. They’re pretty quick to stick up and take down each day, and the Velcro seems strong. I like that the Velcro on the blind is much bigger that the piece on the window frame, as it makes putting it up less fiddly. Have only been using the blinds for a week, so I don’t yet know how they’ll do longer term, but for the price if they only last a couple of years I’d be happy to replace when needed.

Superb blackout without chemical smell

Block out the light well and the Velcro straps are good. I couldn’t find anything about whether or not this material is flammable though, and from a quick test in the garden with a lighter it does appear to be very flammable, so just be careful putting it too close to the cot.

Great, does what it says. It is a bit of a faff to install but a good cheap alternative if you can't afford proper blackouts!

I like it. My room it's dark.

This was the thing that finally got the east-facing bedroom to be pitch-dark. Easy to cut and install. As others have mentioned the adhesive in the Velcro pads basically melts during high summer, especially in the Velcro you put at the top of the window (hot air rises and so on), leading to a corner or both coming off after a full hot day. My “solution” was to sew the soft Velcro to the corners of the fabric and glue the hard Velcro to the window wooden frame.
