Once you set it up, it's great!
I really like this camera. For the price, I think the image is great, and I've had positive reviews on the microphone too. Two things to keep in mind!1. It's very easy to attach to your monitor, but it's not totally obvious when you first try it. Basically the middle bit just sits on top of the monitor and the camera and rear piece kind of gently "grip" the monitor so it doesn't fall. I added a detailed answer in the Q&A section.2. The image is somewhat zoomed in. About 2' away from the camera, my face basically fills the field of view, so if you want a wide angle or lots of context, this probably isn't the camera for you. For me, it actually works pretty nicely, as I can sit 5-6 feet away and still have no problem with the image quality.

Works good as new
Bought for work computers and have since bought others that were brand new. These work as well as the new ones, making them a good value. Overall, this model is a good basic webcam and microphone. These are used with a front door camera system. The only improvement I can think of is if the microphone had a bit more volume or gain for speaking.

Solid Starter Webcam At A Great Low Price
So the price wasn't much different from the brand new, retail version, but that didn't bother me. With that said, this is a pretty good starter cam. I don't plan to use this very often, if at all. But the image quality is certainly good enough. The microphone is amazing. Even the lowest of sounds detect very strongly, much moreso than my USB microphone that I purchase on Amazon a month or so back. That really blew my mind! If you don't need anything overly fancy, and just want something for basic, general needs, then I'd go with this. At the price, it's a pretty good choice for me and most others.

Personally i don't know, i am on the camera side of things so i guess i will just have to take there word.Easy install for windows 10 can't imagine it would be any more difficult for newer versions.
