Works Great!
I initially got the Chinese noise filtering model and I liked it as it made a noticeable improvement in SQ. I hesitated on this item at first due to having only two outlets, but decided to try it being on sale. The noise filtering on this product appears to be superior as the SQ had greater resolution and a slightly larger sound stage. The built quality on the Furman is much better all around. The outlets on the Furman is solid, but the Chinese brand has some flex when plugging in. Since the AC-215A made a noticeable impact in my system to cleanup line noise, I experimented with affordable power 10g power cables and found they made additional improvements in sound quality. Also experimented with various anti-vibration or isolation products and materials that made more improvements. All I can say is that I am very pleased with each individual change as each may have made a small difference, but they added up to make a noticeable improvement in resolution and clarity. Ordered another power conditioner for my 2nd system and returned the Chinese brand. Would have kept the Chinese brand for my HT or desktop, but it just seemed overpriced surge protector when compared to the Furman surge protector with noise filtering thatalso does a decent job compared to Chinese brand.

Fixed my issue
I have only had this for a few days now but I can say it 100% fixed the issue I was having. I live in an older house , 1940's, that has had many wiring configurations, changed from fuses to circuit breakers, panels added room additions etc. etc. It would be nearly impossible to correct all the different neutral / ground issues. . The problem I was having has been going on for years, buzzing thru my guitar amps. Not 60cycle but the buzz you get that goes away when you touch the guitar strings. All guitars & amps do this to one degree or another. This was extreme & to the point of being very annoying. Its an issue with AC being on the ground. It would sometimes be worse than other times & for some reason when it rained & at night it was worse. Anyway I bought the 215 because I saw some internal pictures & the inside actually had a few components in there, circuit board , capacitors , transformers. So I knew that was more than just a surge protector power / power strip. I really wasnt sure if this would help and was really doubtful that it would work. To my surprise this corrected all my problems that I have been putting up with for years. This unit actually Filters the power, cleans it up and my amps & guitars are more quiet than they have ever been. I will definitely be buying one or two more of these. My only real complaint would be that it only has 2 outlets but im sure there are other more expensive Furman units that have more outlets.

For me this furrie works - flickering / popping / hum TOTALLY eliminated. Phew.
in the studio there's a number of pieces of ac-plugged audio gear and ac-plugged monitors. We had a huge problem where: if someone in the building turned a light or appliance on or off, it would often cause one or more monitors to flicker, perhaps cycle, and you would get audio pops in amps, speakers, eq, dacs etc. and there was often hum all over the place. Unfortunately, with ground or power or ac noise or ground loop problems, unfortunately there are a NUMBER of different issues that can cause your flickering monitors or popping audio or humm. For this reason there's a huge amount of confusion on the issue and, it's a crap shoot whether any "particular" solution will actually solve your particular problem. Fortunately for us, this furman (215A model) did ABSOLUTELY, TOTALLY fix all the problems we were having. It now makes no difference if, in the rest of the house, light switches are thrown, vacuums turn on and off, etc etc. The build is rock solid, and now that I've used one, I would pay 2x as much if they put the price up - it's basically "must have" kit at a very fair price for the build quality. I literally love turning on the big solid switch every morning to power everything up! Furman should be proud, great piece of kit. Take all your crap $8 "surge protectors" and throw them in the bin at last ! Safety alert - as everyone should know YOU NEVER chain proper surge protectors, you'll start a fire. Thus when you plug in a power strip IT MUST BE a completely "vanilla" power strip that >>DOES NOT<< have surge protection. It's actually getting harder to buy "real" "vanilla" power strips with NO surge protection. You'll notice in the pic we went to home depot and bought a proper "builder's" power strip which is built like a battleship, it's fantastic, only about 30 bucks which is amazing. (So just TBC the "builder's" power strip indeed has no surge protection, it's just a "real" power strip, perfect.) Would never be without a power conditioner now, this is the only one I've owned but it's golden. Not ONE pop or flicker since.

Essential for protecting electronics from power line spikes
Easy to use professional grade power conditioner for your big TV and home theater. I replaced the inexpensive power strips in my home and now protect my expensive flat screen TV and receiver. Midwest storms do cause power interruptions in my home every year and now I am confident that line spikes will be suppressed. Heavy duty power cord. Sturdy construction.

Absolutely Kills Guitar Hum
I had one of my 8 guitars (Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe) which has CuNiFe humbucker pickups, unpotted, that was giving me fits in my new apartment with noise just like a single coil pickup being picked up externally somehow. The guitar plays perfectly quiet at other people's houses. My last attempt to mitigate the noise, after reading some of the reviews here stating that it did in fact abate the noise issue, where you touch metal and it goes away, I purchased this conditioner. Just got it today, and lo and behold, it really works. Playing thru my Blues Jr. IV tube amp, I would say the noise has been reduced by about 90%. Playing thru my Fender Twin Reverb Tone Master, (solid state) the noise is abated by about 95%. The funny thing, is that if I get very close to either of my amps, the noise goes completely 100% silent. Opposite of what you would think. I am one happy camper. Definitely worth the price.

I believe it is doing what I need it to do
This replaces the cheap surge protection I had on the big TV and speakers. I used cube-taps to get TV, speaker, woofer, and disc player all plugged into this little box. Brick-powered Roku, Echo, etc plug into a cheap power strip plugged into the wall. I don't think a surge can get to the expensive stuff thru these bricks. Got this mostly based on the brand name. I know enough electronics to appreciate a job done right. The manufacturer's claims make sense to me, but I do NOT have the test equipment needed verify this thing actually works. So, gotta trust the brand and what the manufacturer says. Cheap surge protection contains a zener or MOV connected pin-to-pin on the power to be protected. The MOV normally draws no current, but conducts large current when the voltage is abnormally high. That current opens the fuse. So, including a fuse and MOV in a power strip makes it a surge protector (just two cheap parts). Next level up on protection is filtering to stop fast transients on the powerline. The filtering gives other protections in the box a few extra milliseconds to work, so the box can be built to protect itself, and can be trusted to keep working. A side benefit of filtering is reduced noise on the output power. This stuff is not small, not cheap. Furman AC-215A has this. Next level up beyond filtering is regulated AC power. The AC input voltage may vary but the conditioned output stays constant. Easiest way to do this is AC-to-DC to storage (battery or capacitor), then DC-to-AC. Uninterruptible power supply for computer also does regulation, but these don't filter their own DC-to-AC conversion noise as well as a power conditioner. Of course, someone could copy the price and product description of an expensive product and claim their box of cheap parts is worth it. Gotta trust others that say you get what you pay for with the Furman brand. I must admit this purchase is based on faith. However, the warranty for AC-215A does NOT inspire. (minus one star for that)

Great unit!
This is a good little compact power conditioner and just what I needed for a small live sound mixer board and speakers. It gave me piece of mind to know my sound equipment was protected from Spikes and AC line noise. I've used Furman products for many years. They're well built and last a long time. My only take back here is I wished they would have made this a 15A load rating rather than a 10A. I highly recommend.

Router/Modem/Air Conditioner all Fighting for Power
I was trying to stabilize power for my internet and modem which seemed to kick out for a tiny amount of time seemingly when the air conditioner turned on. I'm not skilled with electricity or anything, so I was looking for something easy. This is very easy. Early results are an immediate improvement and infinitely less frustrating than trying to rewire your house (I'd guess). I don't always need it for that, and can use it on my computer and things too. So even if it didn't improve, it felt like an ok purchase even though it's pricier than I'd normally try. So far, I'm not sure if it's the stable power that is helping, the line conditioning, or some combination of both - but that's why I got this one. It has both! Oh, and it's very solid in an old school electronics way. Great construction. Like, you could stop an intruder with it and it would be fine. Not the intruder though.

Out of site and out of mind for almost 10 years.
This little guy has been awesome for almost 10 years now. I have my amp and turntable protected by it. Zero issues, solid as a rock and makes no noise what so ever.

Low THD output and much cleaner power
The auto protection is also a great feature. Runs perfectly silent and is nice and small. However, the pictures on the site advertised 1600W which is what I needed, not 1200W... but that's amazons fault not Furman, I learned this after calling Furman directly.
