Third time lucky, i have tried 2 other brands which were rated sufficient to run a 12v 10 amp pump for an SUP, I fortunately the first wasn’t sufficient to power the pump. The second was defective on arrival and didn’t even turn on. This one works straight out the box, it it smaller then the other two and appears to be built more robust and what you would expect for an EC or Uk complaint electrical component. The other two were a bit more cheaply produced and dubious. Time will tell off it stands up to use, my old one of a different manufacturer was over 20 years old before it failed, hopefully this one will last a good amount of time also. Time will tell. For now, it’s working which is better than the other ones I found on Amazon.

Had tried a few competitors, definitely a massive block, but no annoying noise, and keeps my expensive IndelB mobile fridge/freezer compressor running 24/7 without any trouble, as after summer it's more likely in my room instead of thr work van. Definitely a good choice for a reliable converter

I’ve put off buying this for a few months purely owing to the price. However, now having four bicycles that constantly require the tyres pumping up, I thought I’d go for it. The generic cigarette lighter mains adaptors/transformers aren’t powerful enough. The RoyPow works perfectly and allows my Ring Automotive RTC1000 12v car tyre inflator to run off the mains. No more dragging the bikes out to the car for kerbside pumping.

I had a little mains to 12v convertor previously that worked ok with a cold box but couldn't provide the peak power required by an iRocker SUP pump which cut out when switching to high pressure mode. This bad boy solved the problem - 180w matches the max my car 12v outlet can supply so anything that works in the car now works at home.

I brought this for a electric tyre pump which originally had a recommended psu that did not work very well with it due to low power output. This psu works perfectly and recommend if have a 10amp electric tyre pump. As mentioned, 10amp psu will not work with pump so need something higher for pumps initial start-up charge. PSU will be useful for many things in garage that requires a lighter socket psu.

Llevo tres años usandolo con una nevera portátil que consume unos 60W (5 A) en ocasiones de forma continua durante mas de 7 días seguidos y va perfectamente. Le he cambiado el conector por un XT60 y acortado el cable para aumentar la eficiencia y lo uso tambien como fuente de alimentación para un cargador de baterias de drones y para una emisora. Uso para todo el xt60 y he hecho un adaptador para el mechero del coche. También le he tenido que cambiar el enchufe por uno tipo shucko de los usados en España Otra fuente de alimentación de radioaficionado que habia probado antes no aguanto ni un año. El ventilador super silencioso, lo podemos dejar encendido de noche en un camping sin ningún problema. La nevera hace mas ruido sin duda.
