I like it
Giving it five stars because I am reading it every night and just at a time right now where I want some Qur'an translation that is easy to read. This is easy to read whilst still maintaining the integrity Qur'an translation demands. It does not have footnotes and headers and all of the other fancy things. It is a basic translation. I don't think this should be a Muslim's only guide. But a resource for sure.

29+30 are also great points to consider
I needed this for my studies. It's in clear English on par with the Christian Bible's ESV version. As far as the mistakes on Christian "Trinity Doctrine" in Sura 4 and 5 as well as many others, an understanding of Islam is very needed in today's world. Sura 2:191, 8:12, 9:6, 9:29+30 are also great points to consider. As far as being "inspired" the reader should make their own choice, but remember after Mohammad's death, Uthman gathered the Quarn's parts he felt were correct and BURNED the rest. Let the reader make their own thoughts...well worth the read however.

Quran : English translation, clear Easy-to-Read in Modern English
This was a very good translation of the Quran. It was easy to follow and in a language of English that I can understand. I have read other translation, and this is the best translation I have read.

Important to Know bout Islam
Curious about religions in general, but realizing that I knew nothing about Islam, I fund that reading the Quran was very educational and I'm amazed at how ignorant most of us in the USA are about this very widely held religion. Of course, not knowing anything about Islam does not keep great numbers of people from pontificating about how their own religion is superior.

quran - not easy to read, contains discrepancies
sura 4:82 stresses that there are no discrepancies in the quran - and the muslim believes it to be so and without error. this translation though contains discrepancies although it claims to be 'clear, easy to read, [in] modern english and pure. in other words the cover contradicts the content EXCEPT if 'pure' is a reference to a good translation [discrepancies included], in which case 'clear' and 'easy to read' are downright misleading and false. examples of discrepancies include: is allah in charge of belief? 6:12 vs 10:100 satan or allah misleads? 4:119-120 vs 16:93 persecute/fight unbelievers [read christians and jews] or forgive them? 9:29 vs 45:14 determination of human sex 53:45-46 vs 75:38-39 what to do if parents are not muslims? 31:15 vs 9:23 only soul or body and soul in paradise? 17:98/75:3-4 vs 31:28 does allah need mankind or is it the other way around? 51:56/67:2 vs 35:15 evil and good - both from allah? 4:78 vs 4:79 mohammad initially politically correct against non-muslims, then radical! 3:20 vs 8:38/39

Always learning other religions.
It is easy to read but because it isn't my religion (I am LDS) and I want an understanding of another religion it is a bit hard to understand. Patience it what I need. I am trying to study all religions so that I am more knowledgeable in that area.

Easy read
Does as it says. Clearly written. I brought this to compare to the Bible. This book is clearly written for those who want to have an insight into this religion. I will be looking out for the Tanakh in this format.

Accurate Version, Accessible Fair Price, Thank You
Talal Itani's translation is accurate and you can check on various online translations for English. They could have increased the price of the Holy Quran as did all the other sellers, this was the only Quran I could afford. It's an affordability crisis and Canada and when I needed spiritual guidance, while the Quran online is helpful, I needed this. Thank you for keeping the Quran affordable. This is a very good version.

understandable and straightforward qur'an
This Qur'an is a pleasure to read. Some Qur'ans in English are more difficult but good for study. This one is good to sit down with a cuppa and just read. That's not to say it's simplistic and just a paraphrase; when I compare it with my other Qur'an (Al-Hilali and Khan), it appears to be a faithful translation, but it is easier to read. I use both and wouldn't be without either but I use each of them differently. The only regret I have is that it's not available in a hardcover.
