BLAUPUNKT 1600W 4-Channel, Full-Range Amplifier AMP1604, Black

I use these power in-ceiling speakers in my home. I first tried using a single amp and speaker selector as shown on the right of picture. Using these Blaupunkt Amps to power four speakers in 1-2 different zones is SO MUCH better. Using the Alexa ap, I can play different songs, at different volumes, in different zones, or have them all act in concert. The sound quality is solid and the power good at literally a fifth of the price Sonos charges. Also at the same sound output, these amps stay relatively cool compared to my SSL amp that gets quite hot. I plan on purchasing more to kill the speaker selector altogether and add some additional bedrooms.

Hands down best sounding AB amp for the cost, excellent sound quality! Good install instructions , this is my second purchase of this very amp. Have no regrets what so ever ! If you want a louder system with out paying an arm and a leg this is the amp for you , not some cheap junk that dies a week later claiming to be 6000 watts of pure garbage. Just quality audiophile sound at an affordable price. Durable crisp clean sound.

I've been installing audio systems for over 15yrs. From a professional stand point, It works great! However it does get hot!! A $65 4 channel amp that sounds better than any stock system? Can't beat that. I haven't had the protection mode triggered from overheating yet but still cold here in California. We'll see what I in the summer time... 4 stars overall, for the price is not bad at all...

Not even close to "printed" power. BUT, thd is better than rated, dampening factor is better than rated, and sound output up to clipping, is outstanding. It's almost like the marketing department just guessed at the rated power, and printed what they thought ppl wanted. But for the money, it's a very solid amp. 🤷. If they had rated it at 43.5 watts rms, a channel, 4 ohm load, with 2 volts input, at 13.8 volts, instead of imaginary numbers, I'd have no complaints at all.

complete garbage. purchased for a project SUV i am working on, installed amp and in the first 10 minutes it died. Looks to have power, fuses not blown power light off it does has static at output. no audio output. by passed amp and checked output direct from tuner and it works fine, amp is dead total waste of money

Great budget 4 channel amp with a lot of features. You can adjust the gain on each channel, use 2 for subwoofer and 2 for door speakers. Has HFP, LPF, and hrz adjust on each channel. Used this for door speakers and the Blaupunkt 1501 monoblock for subwoofers. Paired with an Android Stereo. For under $600 I got a bunch of sound.

This is a great amp for the price. I was a little hesitant to purchase it but I’m truly glad I did.

Great amp. Worked for my install of a couple 12" subwoofers in the back of a 240sx. Recommended- not sure if rated watts are legit, but the system sounds alright!

Don`t bother with this as it has failed in under a year, amp was working fine on 4 channels and sounded ok but not much difference to my head unit amplifier to be honest. it was playing and then suddenly stopped working, all fuses and connections are good but amp is dead so i do not recommend this.

Good for the price

The unit is a little on the large side for putting under a seat or behind a panel, but if you have a larger vehicle it's not a problem. I'd agree with other reviews that the max RMS wattage is pretty low for a 1600W amp, only 55W. More than enough for most car installations where you want to get some scream out of your car speakers that a typical deck can't provide. However, if you're wanting to get some 100W RMS speakers to pound this is not the amp. Think more a Rockford Fosgate Prime series of speaker? The alternative inputs and adjustability of the amp was really good and simple. I'd recommend for a budget amp for sure.
