Great lancets
I've used Ascensia MICROLET Lancet for years. They're reliable, consistant, and at 28g, they're relatively painless. They fit every lancet device I've used, and I know it's not important, but the cheerful variety of brightly colored plastic ends and tips just make me feel good. There are cheaper options out there, but these are reasonably priced, and have never let me down. Thumbs up!

Packed in damaged condition
This time box was damaged, obviously before being put in the envelope for shipping and some of the lancets were loose. Probably still usable.

About the MICROLET Lancets
1. The Ascentia MICROLET Lancets work very well. They work as advertised. 2. It will take you several "false starts" in order to learn how to use the glucose tester, the test strips, the lancets and the lancet "gun". This will mean using several MICROLET Lancets and several test strips. 3. If you need to take several blood glucose readings each day, you will go through many more lancets. 4. Get yourself a small official medical waste container to store the used test strips and lancets. 5. One poke only with a lancet! If you don't draw enough blood, with it, toss it into the medical waste container and get a new one. 6. Do not attempt to use your fingers to re-attach the cap to the lancet. Place the cap on the table and "stab" it with the lancet until the cap is attached. Then carefully pull the lancet out of the "gun" and toss it into the medical waste container.

Draws blood quickly and easily
Everything a lancet should be, sharp and easy to use and then dispose. Pain is minimal, a good assortment of colors for whatever that means to anyone

painless finger pokes
Nice and sharp and almost painless but they are just a little bit too big for my lancet device so they're difficult to get in and out of it
