Round Cake Boards - Sturdy 1/2 Thick Cake Drums - 14 Inch Professional Base para Pastel Smooth Straight Edges Silver 1-Pack

I bought a three-pack of these 10-inch cake boards for my husband, who loves to bake cakes in his retirement. He wasn't convinced he needed this baking supply, but after using one to assemble and decorate his own birthday cake, he ended up really loving the cake board. The board is about a quarter-inch thick and made assembling and decorating easy by providing a flat surface (our regular dinner plates curve upward slightly at the edge, making decorating the bottom of the cake difficult). I ordered the silver color. One side has a pretty decoration embossed on it so it dresses things up on a cake stand. Really nice. Maybe a bit pricey, but since the cake board wasn't damaged after using it, we cleaned off the board after the cake was gone (wiped up just fine!) and plan on reusing it as many times as we can to get our money's worth.

It was a nice sturdy cake board for a 2 tier cake. I do not recall the description saying the board was going to have a design on it. I thought it was just plain silver. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for that small detail. It worked out because the cake was a succulent theme.

I needed a single cake drum for a wedding cake that I was making for my friend's wedding. I needed a good-looking, extra thick, durable cake board, and I only needed one. Most everyone who sells anything like what I needed, wanted to sell me 10 of them. Finally, I spotted a cake base that looked like what I wanted, and I could buy one. I went ahead and bought this one, and now it is sitting right next to me awaiting a very heavy cake to be loaded onto it momentarily. I'm not worried at all about this cake base, every time I pick it up, I am relieved that it feels mighty strong. This is an important day today and I have enough to worry about, but if the cake is ok, is not one of those worries. Not anymore. I got what I asked for, and I got what I paid for. Mark me down as a satisfied customer who didn't skimp on a very important detail, and I will buy another one if the need arises in the future. Oh, did I mention it looks very slick and clean? Good. Cuz it stands out nicely!
