Used these wedges to renew the wheel barrow. Good Fit and worked well

Proper shape and length. Drilled holes fairly easily. Did not collapse when bolts tightened. A bit pricey for a piece of wood.

These wedges are made of hardwood as stated in the description, they are shorter than the last 2 pairs I had on this old wheelbarrow. I made them work though and they fit just fine and I look forward to many years of use.

Just installed two new wedges on a True Temper wheelbarrow with metal parts and handles, wheel etc. ok to keep. Wedge Product is top quality. Ordering 1 is not a set of two, it is 1 wedge. If need only 1 wedge, order 1; if need two wedges, order 2 wedges. The wedges do not come in pairs. They also come without drill holes. This makes sense since drill holes in handles and/or wheelbarrow tub could vary. For mine, the bolts are 1/4 inch and the handle holes 3/8 inch. I drilled the wedges with 3/8 inch.

The product functions as advertised. But after only one season, their longevity is yet to be determined.

I don't know why these are not included by default with the handles, but it must be purchased separately. That was my experience in replacing the Jackson M series handles. I think the new handles were actually better than the original ones, but any rot in those handles would likely be affecting the wedge pieces too. Replacing them is easy. These are not sold in pairs, which seems crazy since handles come in pairs. You doing need to drill holes to match your wheelbarrow, but that's pretty straight-forward. I notice the price has been reduced from what I paid, so it's a better value than previously. It would be convenient if you could just order the M series wedges (risers) pre-drilled/finished from Amazon, but it is not available from them other than in a complete repair package for $80. All I needed was the wood. I could not find a dealer on the web (with them in stock) for Jackson risers (00210750) alone.

I, too, had thought that I was ordering 2 wedges. A ridiculous price for only one! Also, as one other reviewer noted, these wedges are not the same sized as original wedge in my Jackson wheelbarrow- it's about a quarter inch thinner at the large end of the wedge. Also, the wedges are not drilled for the bolts and the thin end split when it was drilled. Boo to Jackson for having ZERO customer service for replacing both handles and wedges for their products!

I’d give this 5 stars if the price was better. Decent solid pieces of wood but could be cheaper IMO
