Fantastic Tablet!
I honestly couldn’t imagine a better tablet for the money! The metal rear casing makes it feel much more premium than it’s price would suggest. The display is fantastic with brilliant viewing angles and rich colours, and the full lamination really helps with the contrast - the photos do not do justice to the quality. The speakers were a huge surprise, super bassy with a nice full sound. (I’m sure audiophiles would take issue with the overall tone, but for watching Netflix or listening to music they’re perfect). My only gripe is that both speakers are on the same side of the tablet when viewing in landscape, but I think it’s fine for the money. You occasionally feel the 2GB of RAM when multitasking, but it’s nowhere as bad as I had imagined. You can easily split screen apps, or use the new pop-up app view, with no lagging. Since others have mentioned issues with the tablet accepting MicroSD cards, I thought I should mention that I’ve installed a 200GB Sandisk MicroSD, and it’s working perfectly. After a week or so of owning the tablet I received the Android 10 update, and it’s a massive improvement. The UI feels much smoother and more responsive than before, and the tablet now loses zero battery overnight. If it’s at 100% when I go to bed, it’s still at 100% when I wake up…! Nuts. I’ve loaded up PUBG Mobile, and while the standard performance isn’t great, using the GFX app from the PlayStore I’ve managed to push about 40fps. If you’re looking at tablets in this price bracket I doubt you’ll find anything better.

Welcome to the galaxy
Well what to say about this tablet other than its not a small shiny box of paracetamols; (excuse the poorly chosen joke or pun) currently sat listening to a bit of David Bowie as i download a couple of series onto my new shiny samsung. Ok so i’m more of a apple guy than an android user. But couldn’t quite bring myself to fork out the kind of funds needed to buy an ipad. Was initially going to get the new amazon fire Hd 10.1 tablet but found this samsung galaxy tab A 10.1 (2019) cheaper. Tho i do think the amazon fire HD tablets are good for the money you pay (had the previous model) but i liked the look of the galaxy tablet. Slimmer and lighter and much less bessel. Which was the deciding factor. Havent had the tablet for long. But it is a nice one; may not be high end but its far from being a bargain low end tablet. The screen is nice; watched a bit of the first season of swamp thing (so sad that there will be no season 2) i liked the screen; i mean its no OLED screen; but it is still brilliant quality; i also found the speaker to be better that the amazons one. I also found the tablet to be responsive. And i would highly recommend the samsung galaxy tab A (2019) To close it does what it says on the tin (ok the box) if your looking for a tablet that wont break the bank or cause you to spend a month ruffling through food banks like a crazed zombie. Then the samsung tablet should be the one for you. If your debating over this or the amazon tablet sadly i cant help you as this is more of a personal preference. But for me the samsung wins in many aspects; the back is not plastic so feels more high end and of course the camera is better. And its Android (though i did actually like amazons interface) happy hunting peeps; hope this was helpful.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 OR Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 let me help you?
I bought Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 on April 2020 but before this i was thinking which one should buy 10.5 or 10.1 finally i decided to get 10.1 so what is different the positive things in 10.1 comparing with 10.5 is : 1- Solid metal body while 10.5 is Full plastic body 2- 10.1 getting Android 9.0 Pie while 10.5 Android 8.1 Oreo 3-10.1 Powerful processor so the performance much better than 10.5 . The negative things in 10.1: 1-10.1 has 2GB of RAM while 10.5 it has 3GB of RAM out of the box! 2- 10.1 has 2 speakers while 10.5 has Four speakers ! 3-10.1 battery life weaker than 10.5 In the end The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is a very good tablet with a great value. you get a good screen, a solid build quality, and a powerful processor. It is running Android 9 Pie and should get updates for at least two years. Hope you get all info that you need :)

Decent budget tablet from Samsung but limited specs let the performance down
I mainly bought the device for travelling/multimedia, so didn't want to spend a great deal, but at the same time didn't want something that wasn't functional due to it being too cheap! This product is very competent for the price. I managed to get it under £150 with a genuine Samsung 64Gb memory card and case (a necessary accessory for this tablet). This bundle and price was great value, though this was a Black Friday deal. It comes loaded with Android 9 and Samsung appear to be keeping the monthly security patches much more up to date than in the past. The device is fairly heavy, but the screen size of 10.1" is put to good use and the image quality is good. The device plays media without issue and I even have even installed a few games on there now which run fine, though I would expect more graphically intensive titles to struggle a bit more due to hardware limitations. Negatives I have found over a months use are a) lag due to the limited 2Gb RAM b) touchscreen can be unresponsive and c) speakers are located on the bottom/side so don't give a stereo effect and can also be fouled if you are using it in portrait mode, as they end up at the bottom. Battery life is decent enough, though no high speed charging via the USB C port. Other than that, can't complain, good quality device for the budget price and even better value if you can get it in a bundle. As of July 2020 the tablet is being updated to Android 10 and One UI 2.1 which I now have, the experience so far is somewhat improved. The tablet received Android 11, which was the final OS update for this model and continues to receive bug fixes and security updates so far, into 2023. I decided to drop the score to 4 stars mainly due to how laggy the device can be due to its hardware limitations. This makes it irritating to use due to its sluggishness and this is it's real issue, it's so slow due to the limited memory. It's a real chore to use after coming from something snappy and that's the biggest let down of this device.
