For glass they have a different style that is small and fits where the lock is. I don’t know if this model will work for a glass door.

Q: I have 35 inches store front entrance glass doors, can I use this product ?

No, This crash bar is for doors no wider than 32 inches. Look to the next costlier Panic bar that extends to 36 inches. The part of the bar that connects to the hinge side of the door is hollow and can easily cut shorter. This answer assumes the glass door has at least a one inch frame. Good LUCK
