Was looking for a quiet office keyboard and this delivers as a great price point
Don't know if it helps but my background is 50/50 gaming and productivity. For years I've used mechanical, traditional membrane, and scissor switch style keyboards. Everyone seems to think mechanical is a must these days but personally I don't need the tactile feel. Keyboard keys for me are never used with the level of precision of a two-stage competition match trigger. So with that, I've transitioned away from mechanicals. I do find them satisfying to use, don't get me wrong, but ultimately I find the practicality of scissor switch the best. Short key throws to minimize the effort needed when you're putting in thousands on thousands of keystrokes in a day. Call me lazy but in theory this means less time for keypress activation. So you can already imagine I think this keyboard is a delight to use just from that alone - and it is. It's everything you need, even as a slightly-more-than-casual gamer. Most key presses are very quiet, keeping all of my office cube neighbors from going crazy. The space bar is always the loudest on most keyboards and this is the same; but that said this one isn't terrible either. Most of the keys feel like they are subtly concave which I really appreciate. The best in the business are the island keys on IBM/Lenovo laptop keyboards - I can't even describe the shape but those are pleasure to type on. The Logi MX Keys I've had for a while and I love how deep the dishes on on those. Despite how minimal it is, I'd still rate the ones on the KC 6000 as really good! LED indications for lock keys are plenty bright, and I love the red color behind all of the keys. They make me think premium, like contrast stitching on a racing seat. It's a nice subtle reminder that while it looks like it, that you aren't using just a basic OEM keyboard. The Arteck 2.4G keyboard I've had and it ticks the boxes of what folks look for in the MX Keys but the feel of it isn't nearly as premium as that, or for the value on the KC 6000. And the Amazon Basics Ultra Premium Wireless Keyboard I bought for my parent's PC is decent and comes with a mouse. It works but it doesn't make me feel like I want to use it for typing like I do the MX Keys or the KC 6000. Maybe that's a good selling point if you want to justify this keyboard to be expensed for work. Are you really still reading this review? What are you waiting for? Add it to your cart.

Absolutely the best deal in keyboards on the planet. Cherry Rules.
The action is fast and solid, with almost no 'clicky'. Weighted and perfectly balanced. All of the best features from the largest of their keyboards (equally great but different) in a compact but not compromised keyboard. This isn't a crammed board, it's slim, full sized with damped, fast action. 90% size. New favorite. Cherry does put standoffs on the bottom, and they are in a small black tissue paper clump in the box.

Great value for the price
Product is of a high quality build, with great tactile keys, yet I find it harder to type on than say the Logitech MX Keys, MS Surface keyboard, or the Apple Magic Keyboard. The keys seem stiffer and have a longer actuation length for my fingers without a wrist rest. The media keys are simple and do not require any additional software which is great as itโs plug and play. Other than that itโs a inexpensive alternative for a business office keyboard that works for mid to heavy MS Office use. My home office is another situation all together and the Mx Keys is a much better product for my uses as itโs very easy to type.

Ultra-silent, but still "clicky"
I got this keyboard because my wife was becoming annoyed with the sound of me typing on my gaming keyboard. I loved the feel, but it was LOUD, so I understand her frustration. This keyboard still gives my touch-typing fingers the feedback they need, but is whisper quiet, even when I'm banging away. It's amazing to me how strudy these small laptop-style keys feel. Other features I like - I love the fact that the indicator lights are on the keys they're associated with - caps lock, scroll lock, num lock - all have a tiny led in the bottom right corner of the key. I wish all keyboards did this. The volume up/down and mute keys are also a godsend. I don't use the calculator key that much, but it's nice to have. I also appreciate the fact that all of the 'extra' keys don't require a Function key, as most keyboard makers put that right where my fingers expect the "Windows" key to be. This is an almost ideal layout, imho. Two small gripes - First, to raise the keyboard, you need to affix included rubber feet to the back - it's not adjustable, you have to choose to have the keyboard slightly elevated or flat. That said, the rubber feet are great at holding the keyboard firmly in place. Second, since this is a wired keyboard, a backlight (even single color) would be nice. You can get backlighting in a Cherry keyboard, but only in the top-of-the-line model, which is wireless.

Great PC "chiclet" style keyboard -- very speedy, good construction
I bought this to replace a crummy office keyboard that was feeling gummy. I prefer chiclet-style keyboards, because I find them faster; and, I prefer shallower key travel. This keyboard is super fast; the key travel is limited, which makes for very fast typing. For Mac users familiar with chiclet-style Apple wireless keyboards, it is very comparable in feel to the chiclet Apple Wireless Keyboard (the aluminum one). Whereas, compared to the newer Apple Magic Keyboard (the one that plugs in with a Lightning port), the Cherry KC 6000's key travel is slightly deeper, and it's ever-so-slightly noisier (but not annoyingly so). Compared to came-with-the-computer Dell and HP chiclet style keyboards, it feels much fasterโeach keypress is more well-defined, and the tactile feedback is much betterโand the minimal degree to which it is noisier than those keyboards is far offset by its speed. I've really been quite pleased with the typing experience on this keyboard. I use this keyboard with both my office Windows PC and also my docked MacBook (I remap "Command" to the physical Alt key, and "Option" to the physical Windows key in macOS Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Modifier Keys). The biggest, most notable downside to this product is that for people who prefer inclined keyboards, this product lacks built-in feet. It does come with four little rubber feet that you can stick on to create an incline, but it is clearly an afterthought.

90% there for a low profile keyboard with standard buttons.
I wanted a low profile keyboard like a laptop keyboard. This is about 90% there. It is pretty quiet and most of the keys are in the right place. I like that the F keys at the top are not shortcuts so they are easily usable. I don't like that it has a lock button and I accidently hit it once and it locked me out of my computer and I didn't know the password. I also don't like that the 10 key portion shrunk the plus button and moved the minus button down to add a backspace button which I do not need. Also I with it had backlighting.

Awesome low-profile keyboard
It's up to personal preference, but this is one of the best keyboards I've ever used! I bought multiple new keyboards to try out, and I absolutely adored the laptop-feel of this keyboard. It's super easy to type fast and quietly on this - I can also easily slide my finger across adjacent keys while keeping them pressed down, which really helps while gaming (e.g. sliding from W to S without lifting my finger for even a split second); The keys feel really good to tap on; The layout is fantastic; The LED indicators on cap & number locks are a HUGE plus! Definitely worth buying!

Cherry ist immer gut
Es fehlt evtl. noch so eine Ein/Aus-Taste wie auf dem Laptop. Aber sonst top.
