MightyBoard is a DIY Open Source 3D Printer Control Board designed by MakerBot company, it is mainly used in desktop 3D printer DIY creation. It adapts ATMEGA’s Atmega1280 as the master control chip. MightyBoard provides stable and excellent performance while reducing the difficulty of development; it is very suitable for those who enjoy DIY. What’s more, MightyBoard supports dual extruders, with the control software of MakerBot, it can realize double color printing to make printed items more attractive. Other Features: Use active cooling in the printing process to make sure the printed items can form better. Notes:If the mainboard does not work. 1)Check the connection, to see if all the connection is correct, any wire is misconnected, the mainboard will not work. 2)Check the firmware, to see if it is upgraded successfully. During the process of updating the firmware, “TX” LED will blink, and then “RX”LED will blink. When the two LEDs stopped blinking, the firmware update succeeded.

Great deal, works great. **IF** you understand this is no plug and play.
Note! In most cases using this board may NOT be a simple "plug and play". I needed a new motherboard for my Replicator 1 clone (CTC) due tothe MAX6675 thermocouple ICs being fired due to short in my extruder heater. I found that I could not use the original stepper motordriver modules from my old board because of different pinouts. Switched to DRV8825 modules, which required me to remove the pins from the M0-M2 pins and jumper them for correct step rate. Also had to adjust the current to stepper motors.Found that it came with Sailfish installed. However, I upgraded to the latest version.I got mine for in the $70 range. Best price I found for exact match replacement was around $160. The little work I had to do was well worth it in my opinion.

Wanhao Duplicator 4 replacement board...Or not??? Powers on but no stepper motor movement thus far...
Attempting to revive my Wanhao Duplicator 4 3d printer with this Geetech Mightyboard (Rev. G). Not an exact "drop-in" replacement as the case will need a hole cut for the on-board power switch and another hole for the micro-SD card slot if you would like to use that (if even possible as I have not tested the micro-SD slot).The board powers on and give me the start-up song and I am able to navigate the settings etc. but I am unable to "HOME" the axis or "jog" the steppers. I will be triple-checking my wiring and I shall update this review soon but so far, I am unable to get my printer working with this replacement mightyboard.

Ran into issues getting it to work and can't seem to find much help out there. I set it aside and got a ramps board instead. May try to use it on my next 3D printer build.

Good Product. I had to replace the motherboard on my Makerbot Replicator 1 Duel. I upgraded to this motherboard. Works great.

Just like another reviewer said
I had to change our several of the components on the board to make it compatible with my Replicator Dual extrusion (the power connector, the connectors for the stepper motors, and one of screw terminals for thermocouples was missing a screw). Luckily I'm handy with a soldering iron and had a heat gun on hand. After a couple hours, I finally got it hooked up. When I flipped the switch it turned on and I was able to navigate the menu and even try to change the filament, but when it came time for the stepper motor to pull the filament in, no luck. Just like another reviewer said, it appears that I am able to control everything by the stepper motors. I'm using the drivers from my old board. If geeetech can provide me with instructions to make the board work, I'm happy to modify my review. Until then, I'm not a happy camper and will definitely dispute this transaction.
