How do you measure the T-channel? Is it the width of each small channel or is it the center distance between or is it the total distance?

The distance between the centers of both T tracks. The strip fits most common doors. Takes 2 people to install with soapy water spray.

I have sliding barn doors. Could I put a strip on the end of each door vertically to create a good seal between them when closed?

You will need the aluminum door bottom piece to slide this weather seal into.
