Very easy recipes to follow. Not healthy recipes but definitely southern.

Outstanding book-great recipies
Sylvia's Soul Food is a wonderful cookbook. I am especially pleased she chose not only to share ingredients but technique as well. I have owned this book for several years and it is a staple in my kitchen. I have purchased a copy for each of my daughters also. Sylvia's sweet potato pies are the best pies ever-hands down! Her coconut cake recipe has won several compliments over many a holiday gathering. The smoked shoulder recipe yields a ham worthy of upstaging the turkey on thanksgiving day! I have enjoyed this cookbook and recommend it for serious cooks everywhere.

Any "cooks" Treasure
It was very information. The recepies were very easy to make and what I have made so far was delicious, everyone loved them! I would reccmmend this book to anyone who loves to cook. A must have to any cooks collection:)
