Would this dye work to make a pink bathing suit purple?

Your suit might show a slightly lilac tinge. But, it most likely would not last due to pool chorline, sun, etc. Also, one would not want to subject the swim suit to the hot water necessary to make the dye "take."

I have a royal blue 100% polyester top and I want to dye it royal purple...will it work?

I don't think so. That royal blue will affect the purple color. It could make it a really dark purple though. These fabric dyes don't replace the existing color, they combine with it, so you have to think about how the purple will mix with the blue.

I want to dye a light blue dress will it come out purple?

Adding the purple to the blue might just make it a darker blue. You can send us a picture of the dress to info@ritdye.com and we can suggest how to get it a purple color.

I want to overdye a pair of denim jeans purple. Would I have more permanent results with this or the regular Rit dye?

This dye is for items made for synthetic items, such as polyester. Items that are cotton can usually take the Rit Dye.
