I hardly ever write reviews, but I had to for this brush. Absolutely the best shedding tool I have ever used. I got it for my 2 donkeys who have long coats with incredibly thick undercoats. Each year shedding is an ordeal, but this brush takes the effort right out of their shedding. It removes more hair in less time than anything else that I have tried, and I have tried what seems to be everything. I can't speak highly enough about this tool, Not only does it work better than I ever expected, but it seems to be well made and is rock solid. I absolutely love this tool! Not only is it the best shedding tool I have ever used, but it's also the cheapest. I can't imagine finding anything better.

After more than 50 years of grooming dogs and trying just about every deshedding and dematting tool on the market, this is the one that has actually stood the test of time for me. Most of the others eventually fail in one way or another. The rubber handles get soft, shred apart, crack from garage heat, or the whole tool loosens up after real-world use. I still have some old ones wrapped in tape and patched together because they simply didn’t hold up. This Maxpower tool is different. Not only has it held up far better than the others, but it also flat-out works better. That’s the strange part. Looking at it, you’d think it was just another dematting rake like all the rest. But in actual use, it performs differently. It pulls through heavy coats better, removes loose undercoat faster, and handles mats that many other tools would turn into a miserable battle or force you to cut out completely. I use doodles, so matting is not a small issue around here. This tool has worked through mats I honestly thought were going to require scissors. Somehow it breaks them apart more effectively and with less struggle than the competition. The handle has also survived real use and abuse. If you groom regularly, especially larger dogs or heavy-coated breeds, you already know these tools get stressed hard over time. This one has taken it. Five stars without hesitation. This is one of the very few grooming tools I’ve bought over the years that I would immediately buy again if I lost it tomorrow. In fact, while writing this review, I bought another one even though my last two are still doing perfectly fine. I saw a new color on the product listing and decided I wanted it.

I have a double coated dog and this is the best tool. It works really well and in half the time.

It works good but pulls the hair on my wooly husky too much. You have to go very slow and take your time on each section. It’s not good for an everyday brushing on his fur. It was cheap enough though and made well that I still kept it.

My pup sheds more than any dog that I've ever had. This tool works GREAT! First, it's not bulky to hold and it is very comfortable when using; second, hair removal is better than I expected, and even with all of the fur that I comb out of him, the tool is easier to clean then any of the others that I've used in the past. Definitely worth the price, which isn't bad at all. Of course, my pup still sheds but not as badly. I really I do see a difference since using this tool.

This rake works surprisingly well, especially if your dog has a thick or double coat. The dual sides are super useful—one side helps break up mats, and the other pulls out a ton of loose fur. It definitely makes a difference in shedding after just one session. The handle is comfortable to hold, and it feels sturdy overall. You do have to use a gentle hand since the blades are a bit sharp, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a great tool for at-home grooming.

Works wonderful for my Russian blue mix, we joke and say hes the husky out of the family. Mostly due to how thick his fur is and every time we brush him with this brush he loves it, and we pull basically a mini version out of him. Now with all that said, it is very easy to remove the hair and clean it, its very comfortable in hand and being able to use both sides of the brush- regardless if your dominant right handed or dominant left handed. Over all it is a good size, it fits comfortably in my tiny hands and in my husband's hands .

Excellent product. Honestly most of this kind are overall identical so it just depends on your brand and budget preference but I got this for my SIL to help brush her husky and I did the first session for her since I'm the dogs aunty and sitter and filled an entire bag in the first session. Only qualm I have is the handle is not weighted for naturally gliding so it's a bit more top heavy than balanced. I will know that. It works great if you have Huskies or border Collies

Ich habe eine BKH Katze. Die Bürste ist ein Traum, denn sie holt wirklich die ganze Unterwolle raus. Bei einer normalen Hauskatze oder einen Kurzhaar Hund funktionieren andere Bürsten besser. Fazit: bei Langhaar- Tieren oder sehr flauschigen Tieren mit viel Fell, ist sie wirklich sehr zu empfehlen .
