Brilliant alternative to chocolate
I loved this product, because I am unable to take chocolate, the carob almond bar for me, tastes as good as some brands of chocolate. I cannot wait for the next consignment to be made available.

crumbly and not at all nice - very disappointing
These bears have obviously been exposed to hot conditions during shipping or been sitting in storage far too long as each bear I have opened so far has a chalky, white film all over it and the quality of the Banjo bears from Carob Kitchen I am used to is just not there. Carob Kitchen bears are normally smooth, creamy and delicious but what I have received is hard, crumbly and not at all nice - very disappointing!

Absolutely Delicious!
I agree with the other reviewer that the bars were rather white... but I thought they tasted absolutely delicious. The best carob bar I have ever eaten. I have been advised to avoid processed sugar, and this makes an excellent alternative to ordinary chocolate.

Our experience having bought this twice was not like the other reviewer - the product was as expected. Buying in bulk is a saving on individual purchase at shops - but it is a challenge to eat them slowly.
