Extends the working life of an acrylic pallette
The sponge lasts a long time through many pallette changes. These work great for acrylics. Keeps most pigments moist for days if covered. Some pigments don't remain wet as long, such ad Q Magenta and ultramarine blue but most do remain useable for days

I feel the sta-wet palette is a must for acrylic painting.
Great replacement for my worn out sta-wet sponge. I have used Masterson Sta-Wet palette for years. It keeps my paints from drying out too fast.

Like the process of how this helps to keep my acrylics damp enough I can use the paint for weeks at a time.

Used to use these
These work really well in the Masterson stay wet box in prolonging the time before the paint dries out, both while painting and for leftovers. I ended up stopping using these, because I use big canvases and was having to buy a lot of this paper for the stay wet palette (alternatives did not work as well). Also, the palette wanting to get moldy, even with the use of hydrogen peroxide every time I cleaned the sponge. Now I just put my paints that I am using in little jars (including if there is a lot of leftover when mixing). If there is a little bit left over, I put it down randomly in a sketchbook (which I also use to clean off excess paint from my brushes )and use that for collage or serendipitous ideas. I just use a shiny old magazine as a palette for mixing. The sta-wet palette is a great tool though, and I did use it for a long time - it changed my painting habits for the better.

Attention à bien aérer les éponges et les sortir de la palette régulièrement (même entre 2 utilisations) sinon les éponges moisissent vite. Un peu cher pour des bouts d'éponge.
