Works great

I bought this to replace an exact duplicate that was purchased years ago but the face had cracked . . . . still works but the face is cracked. Not a fan of Apple and here's an example as to why. Music that I had put on the original unit and had been purchased through iTunes transferred in to the new unit with no problem. BUT . . . . . music that I put in to the original unit that was not purchased through iTunes can not be transferred in to the new unit. Those CDs are long gone so that music will never get on the new unit. I bought a screen protector for the old unit and don't bother using the new unit. For this reason, I give Apple only 2 stars !!! Update in July of 2025. Had not used this new item in a few weeks so I put it on charge. The battery decied to expand rapidly and basically split the unit in half, making it in to nothing more than a paper weight. Just another reason why I will NEVER buy a POS Apple product ever again !!!

This device would not load all my songs onto iTunes or the device

the IPOD works great

The battery life is short, so I guess the battery gets tested to minimal standard instead of getting a good quality replacement in refurbishment.

So far the ipod works. It took a substantial time to set it up because the cord sent with the item is defective. The cord will charge the ipod but is not able to communicate with itunes via laptop. After much frustration in which I almost returned the ipod, I hunted down an old cord in my house. Voila, the old cord worked like a charm! When I brought it to the seller's attention this was their response: "Hello! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been and appreciate the time you spent troubleshooting. Since the cable is able to charge the device, it may not necessarily indicate a fault with the cable itself, but we truly appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. Kind regards." If you want customer service that actually cares to provide quality product, you may want to look elsewhere.

Person who received it as a gift didnt like it. So I returned it.

Still prefer these to using my phone. This was a replacement and always bit worried about refurbished models, battery life etc. but have had it for couple of months and working fine. A good buy.

Condition very good, and so far working perfectly.

Faulty when plugged in and played at the same time. Sound flickers normal to off intermittently. When on red bar needing charging and is plugged in a minute later it says 60% etc depending on how low battery is

Sometimes it flickers when it's on for a little while.

This is the third IPod I’ve bought over the years. I wouldn’t be without one. It works easy and it sounds good. Easy to buy from Amazon as usual.
