Good Buy
I got this as "used" but it comes new bulbs except box is messed up and it has been opened. I inspected the bulb and it does not seems to be installed before. The light is ok and not much brighter or whiter ; however, please understand, the Brighter will make the bulb shorter life; therefore, it is a trade off with performance vs replacement. I have nighthawk on a 2009 corolla before and it burnt out one light bulbs in about one and a half years. I actually prefer not to white because it is easier on my eyes. Life is full of choices and Life is a trade off :-)

Visible Improvement Over OEM, Very Satisfied!
These lights are definitely an improvement over whatever oem lights the dealer had installed in the parents 2001 Accord. As a quick test I drove a route with a combination of street and highway, both with a combination of well lit and under-lit that I've regularly been commuting through. I live in a major city so didn't get a chance to test these in any pitch black places akin to rural suburbs, but I'm sure they'll do well there. The light put out by the VisionPlus is brighter and does appear to shine farther ahead than the oem lights. I can see the light bounce off signs that are farther ahead now. Even in areas well lit by street lights I can make out the round shape of light cast on the road by these VisionPlus bulbs. Faded lane markers, even after being snow weathered (had 15-17inches of snowfall yesterday) are much clearer now and for an adequate distance ahead of the car. Based on these initial results I'm very happy I got these as I was getting worried for my mother's aging eyes behind the wheel, but even she saw the improvement immediately. Since this is the first time I've tried the VisionPlus I can't comment on the life of the bulbs, but I am expecting they'll last longer than SilverStar Ultras as I've read they do in forums on the interweb. I previously got SS Ultras on my '04 Accord hoping for better lighting on extended highway trips through CT and upstate NY but honestly I didn't notice an improvement over the oems, at least not $50 worth (Autozone price, where I bought them). They also didn't seem to make a difference during the rain. I've read the VisionPlus aren't as white as the SS Ultras and that may help regarding reflections caused by rain or snow. I'll have to wait and see during one of those downpours when the wipers can't keep up and traffic slows to a halt. With the initial results and at about $6-7 less per bulb than SS Ultras from Amazon, I'm very satisfied and am already leaning on VisionPlus for all future replacements.

Better than stock
I purchased these love-beam headlight bulbs to replace the stock bulbs in my 2003 Toyota 4Runner; per the Amazon parts tool. I'd never replaced the bulbs myself, but after a quick 'how to' on Google, I easily replaced the bulbs myself and was pleased with the illumination they provided. The light is visibly whiter than the stock bulbs they replaced, and seem about 30% brighter with good coverage to the sides as well as the front of the vehicle. The claim by Philips that these bulbs provide 'up to' 50% more width and 50' longer beam is debatable, but I would imagine that depends a lot on your driving conditions, age of your vehicle, type of vehicle and similar. A single OEM bulb was about six dollars, so for a little bit more per bulb I believe I installed a much better product. I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend these bulbs to others who are looking for brighter, whiter low-beam headlights at the right price.

Don't seem to last
The bulbs work OK but seem to blow about every 3 to 6 months on my Subaru. I finally gave up and let Subaru install them since there is a 1 year warranty and their bulbs have lasted. I use to be a mechanic so know I'm installing them correctly complete with gloves but aren't lasting for me.

Much better than a HID retro-fit kit!
These bulbs are GREAT!! I purchased a set of these for my HIGH BEAM bulbs on a '02 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport 4X4. For those who dont know, this vehicle has a QUAD LAMP headlight set up. For the LOW BEAM bulb,I'm using the Philips 9007 XTREME POWER(would have prefered the XTREME POWER for the HIGH BEAM bulb,Philips does not have it available in a 9004.) I have a heavy duty wire relay harness on all headlights/fog lamps on this truck. This truck has a 4" lift, typically, this would put far less light on the road. NOT THE CASE!!!! Low beam pattern is incredible! Thick, even, wide beam pattern in front of the truck that reaches quite far down the road. High beam, well, let's just say its more than incredible---Night becomes DAY!!!! Absolutely blown away by the amount of light coming from these bulbs, the distance of the beam and the pattern of light! This is so much more LIGHT FOR THE BUCK than a QUALITY HID/projector set up. Forget about those hid-retro kits, they scatter bright light everywhere, like a streetlight,AND don't put it ON DOWN THE ROAD where it's important. Great driving dark Georgia country roads at night with sooooo much light on the road and street legal to boot!!PHILIPS has always been a leader in automotive lighting,German engineering at it's absolute finest here folks!

One blew out in a few minutes
Bought two pair of H7 bulbs. Installed easily on my C320 Mercedes and used gloves to handle. . Unfortunately one of the low beam bulbs blew in a few minutes. Not sure how the others will last.

Good bulbs. Don't waste your money on "better" bulbs.
For some reason all of the bulbs in my VW Golf, not just the headlights, seem to burn out frequently. I've gone through about 7 pair of headlight bulbs in 10 years. I've tried expensive ones, long life ones, and many others. None seemed to last any longer than the others and even light output seemed to be the same. The last set I bought were these and so far they seem to have lasted longer than the rest, including the OEM bulbs. I bought this set to keep in the car for when the other do go out, which I'm sure they will. These are not supper premium, high output, magic bulbs, and therefore are reasonably priced. Even though they are not the newest wiz bang bulbs they seem to me to put out the same light as any other bulb yet also seem to hold up better.

Works Great! Easy to Install!
** Edited review. The bulb was as bright if not slightly brighter when compared to the original headlight. The light is functioning well after more than three months. Very satisfied with purchase. I think it is good to know that when you purchase an auto part from Amazon that the part could be easily installed. For those that do not install auto parts, you need not read further. I purchased the headlight bulb for my 1994 Ford Mustang. I unplugged the electrical connector from the bulb by pulling the connector toward the rear of the car. I used a flathead screwdriver to lift up on the tabs to make it easier to slide the connector back. Then I removed the bulb retaining ring from the bulb base with a counterclockwise turn to slide the ring off. I pulled the old bulb straight out of the assembly. There is no need to twist or turn the old bulb.
