1.8" ZIF 40 Pins SSD Solid State Drive 64gb

It's working well as a replacement drive in my old Dell Dimension D430 laptop. The SSD was easy to install physically (I did a clean software install), and it has really speeded up performance.

Works very well. I'm using it in an old Dell latitude D430 running windows 7. When the original hard drive started playing up some years ago I replaced it with an Integral 64Gb pata SSD, sold as compatible with the D430: it slowed everything down - linux was still bearable, but when I installed windows it was unusably slow (5+ minutes to boot, web browsing impossible, hours spent fiddling with connector and looking for fixes online). Before throwing the D430 away, I gave it one more try with this, and it's now faster than it ever was, and everything works just fine. Very good.

I used this to upgrade the drive of my OQO model 02. It's slim, lightweight, has made my product punchy and actually usable (finally) and was easy enough to install (just note that you need to unlock the little black clip by prying it up before actually putting in the flex cable or whatever 40 pin cable you have), at the end of the day it's compatible with my OQO model 02, it's very fast and its small so I'm happy.

Excellent upgrade to my tiny Sony notebook; which now runs most tasks so much quicker.

Really impressed by this Zheino, have had no errors on this make unlike a similar product from anothere manufacturer.

Direct Replacement for a failing HDD in my 120GB 6th Gen iPod Classic. As stated above, an easier, less complicated way of upgrading my iPod hard drive than going down the SD card adapter/ CF card adapter/ mSata adapter route, this was as easy as doing an HDD swap on a PS4. ie old hard drive out, new hard drive in, connect to itunes and restore iPod, job done. My 120gb drive only had 19gb of music on it, so 64gb was more than enough. Happy days

Works as described

I'll submit screenshots later, but this sucks. Arrived broken with the connectors in pieces from the SSD. I've got an old laptop using a 1.8" HDD that clicks which drives me insane after a bit. Needed something like this and just no good. The connectors don't have the ability to open like on other drives as you'd expect with ZIF.

Lo he comprado para sustituir al disco duro original que después de muchos años de servicio ha dejado de funcionar. He instalado W7 en este SSD y ha dado una nueva vida al portátil. El cambio es muy sencillo basta con sacar el conector y sustituir el antiguo por el nuevo. El arranque para ser un portátil con bastantes años ha mejorado ostensiblemente y la carga de programas también.

Worked well out of the box. There were no instructions, so it was a bit of guess and test to see which way the connectors were supposed to go during the upgrade (the drive that was being upgraded had connectors facing a different way). It's no SATA SSD, but it worked well for the upgrade. Packaging is pretty cool - hopefully the drive functions for as long as the packaging is impressive. Instructions for the way the cable is inserted would have been helpful - that is the reason for 4/5 stars.

Used this as a replacement for iPod Classic 80GB. While capacity is less, after checking I found it was plenty for my Music Library (+48GB) and it syncs VERY fast now. Opening the iPod Classic case was another matter, but I got it done and with the protective case back on it's hard to tell how much I had to mangle it to get it open. Serious flaw on Apple's part not making these devices serviceable since the new iPods are such overpriced crap. Fortunately for me, the iPod / iTunes are the only Apple products I have to deal with. And with iTunes becoming more and more buggy as years go by, that may change too as other options are now available (MediaMonkey). But this SSD works great and I was very happy to get the iPod Classic working again and back in my car.

Setze die SSD an einem Dell D420 ein. Tausch war absolut easy, Batterie raus, Festplatte losschrauben und Rahmen abnehmen, Gummiumhüllung vorsichtig lösen, so das ZIFF Stecker frei ist, Verriegelung lösen ( nach hinten kippen), Kabel vorsichtig rausziehen, Festplatte aus Gummiummantelung herausnehmen, SSD in Gummiummantelung einführen, Kabel in Adapter drücken bis weiße Linie auf dem Kabel nicht mehr sichtbar ist, Verriegelung nach oben drücken, alles wieder einbauen - fertig. Dauer keine 10 Minuten. PC läuft mit SSD flott und durchaus befriedigend.
