It's ok. My biggest complaint is that the MP3 player does not connect to the USB port to charge the MP3 or provide audio through the USB port. It does allow you to use the AUX port for the MP3. You have to read the fine print. I additionally had to purchase a wiring harness that cost 150 because I have a Chevy (Not Boss's fault). I have a back up camera that worked great with this unit. Audio is sick. Bluetooth connection was awesome.

For $140 it's a decent unit. I got one and when it was hooked up the screen would not turn on. Sound from the radio would play but there was no picture. Amazon swapped it out and the second one works pretty well. About once or twice a week the screen will not come on but if I detach the face and reattach it it works.Pros: easy to use and like any other head unit easy to install.Cons: screen doesn't show up well in bright sunlight, when the backup camera comes on the sound from the cd/Bluetooth/radio turns off. Not sure why this would be, but it is.Would I buy it again, no. Spend a little more and get something better.I only had room for a single din and the screen had to go down or it would have blocked my a/c vents so I was limited.UPDATE --- here we are less than 7 months in and this unit no longer produces sound. Screen doesn't come on about half the time now as well, but that doesn't matter.Even though Amazon says automotive parts bought and shipped through Amazon they will cover the item with replacement or refund I guess a car stereo is not an automotive 'part'.So I am downgrading my 3 star to a 1.Final Update - BOSS couldn't duplicate the issue of no sound. Odd, I put it back I the truck and still no sound.

I picked this up and put it into a 99 Ford F-150 replacing a single DIN Pioneer unit. The unit fits well but does partially block some of the heater controls in my truck. This is OK however since I can tilt the screen up if I need to see the controls but I know them by heart and can still manipulate them ok even though they are partially blocked. No big deal.The unit itself is decent. I wouldn't say its as powerful as my old pioneer head unit but it does the job and sounds good enough considering the price. I really like the screen and it is bright enough in full daylight that I can clearly see and manipulate the controls no problem. You can adjust the brightness etc if its too dim or bright.The few dislikes I have of this unit are that the unit doesn't have an EQ adjustment to tune to your liking. It has some presets for pop rock etc and the typical fader and balance controls with loudness settings. I can live with this but its annoying.Another issue I have with this unit is that when I start my truck a motor inside the unit comes on and will sit and spin like it is trying to eject a CD or something. It does this until I remove the face plate and re-seat it. Sometimes this takes a few times to work as well which is annoying and leads me to think it may fail at some point. Also, the splash screen will lock up from time to time as well.Now for the likes; The unit works well with BT for my phone as well as my wifes. I use an iPhone5 and she has an Android phone. Both are easily picked up and work great for streaming music etc.The DVD and backup camera both work well and my kids love both. The DVD can be wired to work while driving easily and on long trips is really nice for passengers. The backup camera feature can be wired with a switch (you provide) so that you can turn it on any time not just when you are in reverse. This is cool for me since I tow things and can turn it on when driving just to check things out whenever I want.Overall, for the price its hard to complain too much about the annoyances with this unit. I'd certainly prefer not to have them but considering that units with features like this one are usually hundreds more I can live with it.

It is what's advertised, does a nice job as a cheaper touchscreen system. May be returning because it is too close to the shift, I have to shift with my thumb and index finger from the back of the shifter. Won't fit without dash kit and light modifications to the kit. Hopefully they'll allow me to exchange it for a different model. Has alot of options and great features. Overall, solid system if it fits.

I'm not really into writing reviews but this product has rally encouraged me to write one.This is the second time that i'm going to have to replace this unit because of the same issue which is the screen blacking out on me right after the return/replaced period has expired. I thought I got a bad unit with the first order and amazon was really helpful with replacing really fast and free of charge, but now this one has lasted probably around the same time, ony 1 month leavving me with no option but only sound from the radio and not being able to switch to another source of audio. I really do hope Boss and amazon can work this out because i would not purchase it again and i would not recommend it to anyone until they resolve this. Now I'm going to have to look for a more solid brand and product and not too happy about it since I'll have to shell out more money on installation again, and be without music and a phone in my car for a while.Pros:User interfaceSound qualityFeaturesCons:Screen bracket isn't really solid and it moves whenever there's bumps which i think is the problem that causes the screen to blackout overtime.Can't sync contacts from iphone just shows up numbers.Needs a longer warranty period.
