I want to make a footprint ornament from clay. Would this work for that?

Yes. But this is not durable clay. If wetted again, it will melt. Moreover, in time it will most definitely crumble even if cared for.

Will this clay stay pliable and moist for long periods of time when covered with saran wrap?

Yes-I've kept it "fresh" for four months, just add some water now and then.

Can this clay be used with a kid's pottery wheel?

It's pretty flimsy but I think so if you make a small pot
