The perfect synth for my needs right now. Can’t think of anything I could possibly complain about with it. The only thing that would make it true perfection is if it had a built in battery and speaker, like the volca series synths. Lol

I’m too lazy to write a long review, because I’m actually on Amazon to write a bad review for another product, but this popped up asking me to write a review and: This makes the best sounds. I’ve played keyboards for 30 years and I love this synth. Easy to use and professional sound and feel.

Never had a synthesizer before but been thinking about getting one for a while. After going through several reviews decided to choose this one. Very happy with it, it's been about 1.5-2 months and play around on it very often. No issues and after getting an audio interface and 1/4 inch cable was easy to get recording on my laptop. One thing to note is that all the audio jacks are 1/4" (even headphone) so if you only have 1/8" plugs will need to get an adapter (1/4" seems common for quality audio equipment but I was unaware when buying).

After much deliberation I decided on the Minilogue XD for my first polysynth and it does not disappoint. The construction feels sturdy, the 200 built-in presets are fun to use and experiment with and it's pretty easy to sync/connect with other devices. I need a bigger table now as it takes up more space than I expected but that was my bad for not getting measurements first.

Big enough to not be easily portable on foot. Small enough to make you miss having more keys. The honeymoon will last until you try to do something that requires more than 4 notes at once, which it can't do. Since I play mostly ambient that means the honeymoon lasted one day. The keys on the keyboard are junk - obviously cheap and flimsy. Considering the price, the quality issues of the keys are straight-up insults. The flaws other reviews have posted here are true as well - it has a lot of knobs but less filter options and so on than you'd want. If you are new to synthesizers, you should be aware that almost all synths are intentionally crippled by the manufacturers so as to encourage you to buy more of them - for its price, this one is significantly crippled. Normally when I buy something that I can't use, I give it away to a friend. In this case, I'm not sure that giving them such a crippled instrument would be a kindhearted thing to do. "What's this!?" "A synthesizer. It sucks in too many different ways for me. You take it." If you insist on buying an XD get the module version and pair it with a quality keyboard. MUCH better idea is to buy something else entirely. I was going to give this three stars, but after typing out the various problems I encountered with it, I dropped the third. If you primarily play lead and bass, and if you get it for $400 or less (the price of a roland boutique), then it's ok. Synth people will tell you that crippled gear forces you to be more creative - yeah, and if you break all your gear it forces you to just imagine the music, can't get more creative than that, so by that argument you're better off not buying any synths in the first place. Showing loyalty to companies that openly treat their customers like garbage is not much different from battered-spouse sydrome. "But they were SO innovative 30 years ago, bro!" Yeah, I sadly remember. This thing came highly recommended by people who really should have known better - I won't be taking their advice at face value anymore.

Pur synthé analogique le son est puissant et de grande qualité, le pilotage numérique permet une banque de preset que l'on peut enrichir avec des patches trouvés un peu partout. Il n'est pas compliqué si on veut un peu s'interresser au mondes des oscillateurs. Le troisième filtre numerique est un peu plus complexe mais cela réserve du temps pour s'ameliorer. Le clavier est tres jouable et le sequenceur tres facile d'accès.

Just received it and excited to try it but can’t because you gave me a non Australia power cable. Perhaps is you see your product into a country give them the correct power supply. Now have to find either a non genuine alternative (does that invalidate warranty??) or buy a genuine power supply! Really Korg?

For the price versus quality, it is a very good deal. Work flow seem to be very easy as well, not as cryptic as in the other gear. As an analog gear it has very good potential for for exceptional creativity

By far this synth is the best I have bought overall. Bang for buck, sound quality, 3rd party content. It's just crazy. I like it sooooo much that I will be buying a second one.
