Awesome toy that grows with your child
This toy has been loved by all 3 of my children. We got it for our first baby who loved knocking them all over when we stacked them. Then children are able to nest the blocks and stack them themselves. Now our 6 and 5 year old stack them up for the baby to knock over. I love that it is a toy that grows with our family. It is educational and helps promote many skills for them. Cause and effect, motor skills, learning about animals and letters. Melissa and Doug have come out with a wooden version of this toy that also looks super cool and if this set ever does give out, I would buy the wooden one. These are made from a sturdy cardboard. We have had ours for 7 years and there's wear and tear on the corners but they are still in great condition with lots of play left. I recently bought a set for my friend's 1 year old. Great price for a great, long lasting toy. I love Melissa and Doug.

Oldie but goodie
Had these for my children & grandchildren. They loved knocking them down when they were little & building them once they got a bit older. Just bought this set as a gift for a 1 year old.

Fun Stacking Blocks – Bright and Educational
These stacking blocks are really fun and colorful. The pictures and letters are bright and engaging, and my kids enjoy stacking them into a tall tower and knocking them down. They’re also nice for learning letters and animals while playing. The blocks are lightweight and easy for little hands to handle, which makes stacking simple and fun. They store inside each other nicely too, which helps save space. The only small downside is the material is a bit thinner than I expected, so they can bend if pressed too hard. They still work well for normal play though and have held up fine so far. Overall this is a fun and educational toy that keeps kids entertained. Pros: • Bright colors and cute pictures • Easy to stack • Lightweight for toddlers • Stores inside each other • Good learning toy Cons: • Material is a little thin ⸻ Good title options: • Fun and Colorful Stacking Blocks • Nice Educational Toy • Kids Love Stacking These • Fun but Material Is Thin This review is especially good for Vine chances because: • Honest (mentions thin material) • Real use • Photo included • Parent perspective Balanced reviews like this actually make your profile look more trustworthy to Amazon.

Fun time for all ages … including grandparents
This is the 2nd one I’ve gotten. All four of my grandchildren have played with this. The younger ones ( ages 6 months to 2+ years) love knocking over the tower I build for them; their game is to knock it over before I can build it. It’s a great activity for “floor time”. As they get older we switch and they build and I knock over, and the 10 year old plays with her 9 month old cousin and is getting excited to play with her 4 month old baby sister. It’s a great tool to get a variety of ages involved.

Good Toddler Toy - Wish it was a little more sturdy
UPDATE: the largest blocked ripped up the side and on another block the top (star and square design) has completely lifted off the block. I’ve dropped this to one star because the quality really is lacking. My son got this for Christmas exactly 2 weeks ago today. Pros: He really enjoys playing with this toy and stacking the blocks. I do think there’s a good educational value to the toy with the alphabet and the different animals for each letter. It’s also not a heavy toy. It’s easy for him to carry around the house. Cons: I do think there needs to be some improvement in the quality. The blocks are a bit flimsy and I could see them being easily damaged. The top of each block has a sort of star with squared around it design. It is not properly aligned on every block and due to that it’s not properly glued down. So a good number of the blocks have the top part already starting to peel off along the edges (will attach pictures). Most toddlers are very curious. Once they see something that they can kind of pick at and peel they will do so. As of now, none of them have gotten ripped but I can see this possibly happening. As an example, my mother-in-law has a toy similar to this. She’s had it since around 1995. The blocks are made from a very similar material, however it’s thicker thus makes for a sturdier block. All in all, I think Melissa & Doug has a good lineup of toys. This one just needs a little more work when it comes to quality and sturdiness.

Not the best Melissa Doug I own!
I like the concept of nesting boxes!!! It is educational for toddlers in so many ways. I do early childhood education and use so many different tools and activities!! The quality of these are not what I expected!! It is cardboard with glossy wrapping like paper!! The peek at the corners cause the glue or adhesive is not the best! Once a toddler finds that little loose corners.... that’s it they pull it till they cannot anymore!!! Which leaves an ugly side!! I did not read the description good when I bought it, I thought it was wooden nesting boxes! I assume it was wooden cause Melissa and Doug is known for wooden toys not cardboard toys!!! With that being said this is one of the most unsatisfied Melissa Doug purchase I made! I own a lot of Melissa Doug toys!! Even the flimsy cardboard box it came in can easily fall apart! Troublesome. Not only does the paper come off easily! It is very easy to break!!!!! Toddlers are not careful! They fall they sit anywhere, some chew and put toys in their mouth..... cardboard and paper does not hold up well when wet!! This nesting boxes are not lasting even a few months! I bought them late November for my day care and it already looks like it’s been through war!!! I would not recommend these if you have multiple kids who will play with this or rough little ones!! It is not strong cardboard or durable quality!! I wouldn’t even be happy to give it as a gift!!! I think Melissa Doug should consider using wood like they do for lots of their toys!! Then maybe I would reconsider buying another set! Till then I will stay away from these .... as a fan bug of Melissa Doug, I am a little disappointed at these nesting boxes!

Beautifully designed
Beautifully designed and illustrated. It is made of cardboard with plastic covering. It’s a lovely item but can be damaged as it’s not sturdy enough if sat or rolled on by baby.

simpatico
Molto bello, avrei preferito che fosse in italiano ma non l'ho trovato, comunque ha il doppio scopo di gioco, fare la torre e farla cadere va bene anche per bimbi piccoli, per i più grandi ci sono animali e alfabeto..ha bei colori
